The book of Enoch is a true account. The reason why it’s not in the canon book is because it doesn’t really matter when it comes to being a devout believer in Christ Jesus. It’s not bad to learn from just so you know where a lot of witch craft and magic comes from also types of drugs.

Only humans are called the sons of God in both the OT and NT; Jesus himself cites this in John 10:30-42! Jesus said humans are the sons of Elohim! That makes us the same kind of thing as Elohim! So, the Sethite argument is the most logical way to explain the nephilim. Other examples of the "Sons of God" can also be easily explained. The book of Enoch is prophecy like Revelation; it is not literal. The nephilim were possessed by the spirits of demons and were "giants" as the kings of pre-flood nations and had spiritual influence. Do you really think there were giants that were over a mile tall like the book of Enoch says, or do you think this is prophetic? Enoch is said specifically to be a "prophet" in the NT, so the book of Enoch should be considered prophecy. Hebrews 1-2 clearly teaches that angels and humans are not the same kind of creature, and though angels are greater in the current age, when Earth and Heaven are remade, humans will regain their titles as the sons of Elohim and become greater. The Sethite theory must be true given it is not possible they are the same kind of thing. Jesus quotes Psalm 82 in John 10:30-42 and proves that humans are not only the sons of Elohim, but Elohim themselves (note that Elohim is a plural word for the title and position of God since Adam was made to be the ruler of this world as God's Son as stated in Luke 3)!!! I too have to agree that the Sons of God refers to Sons of Seth. This is Catholic teaching. It does not include fallen angels. I love to listen to Sam and have learned much from him but I differ on this matter.

Do you really think there were giants that were over a mile tall like the book of Enoch says, or do you think this is prophetic? Enoch is said specifically to be a "prophet" in the NT, so the book of Enoch should be considered prophecy. Jesus was responding to the question of the pharisees saying a woman that had been married 3 times and each of her husbands had died before she married again , so she had been married 3 times and they asked which of her previous husbands would be her husband in heaven ,
so Jesus was saying that none of them would be her husband in heaven because no one in heaven gets married.

From a theological perspective, the “sons of God” cannot be fallen angels in this context because angels are spiritual and non corporal beings meaning they do not have bodies and therefore cannot procreate according to the teaching of the Catholic Church.
From a literary perspective, a major weakness of the fallen angels theory is that these angelic beings would never be mentioned elsewhere in Genesis. so how did they make a race of giants then? It seems to be a corruption by angels for this to happen. Humans cant do this AT ALL. Plus, angels can have bodies here on Earth. @Lil-MAN. Remember, Cain was given “ a mark “ by God that would prevent him from being killed since he was doomed to be a fugitive and wanderer due to his crime of murdering his brother according to the text.
This mark may simply be that Cain would be a very large powerful man who was already given to merciless violence ; a giant man of rebellion against God and violence whose descendants, (the daughters of men), intermingled with the faithful ( sons of God) and so thoroughly corrupted them that the earth was filled with violence and the only faithful remnant was Noah and his family.
As far as angels having bodies on earth the explanation is that they simply appear to us in the manner in which we can relate to them- with bodies.

Hebrews 1-2 clearly teaches that angels and humans are not the same kind of creature, and though angels are greater in the current age, when Earth and Heaven are remade, humans will regain their titles as the sons of Elohim and become greater. The Sethite theory must be true given it is not possible they are the same kind of thing. Jesus quotes Psalm 82 in John 10:30-42 and proves that humans are not only the sons of Elohim, but Elohim themselves (note that Elohim is a plural word for the title and position of God since Adam was made to be the ruler of this world as God's Son as stated in Luke 3)!!! Finally, since the preceding passage before the nephilim are introduced specifically outlines Cain's and Seth's lineages immediately beforehand, it is contextually implied the Sons of Seth went unto the daughters of Cain. I too have to agree that the Sons of God refers to Sons of Seth. This is Catholic teaching. It does not include fallen angels. I love to listen to Sam and have learned much from him but I differ on this matter.

The key thing is that THERE IS NO MARRIAGE IN HEAVEN...But if an angel leaves heaven, and hence becomes a demon, then it goes to show that these demons go on to.do things on earth that they weren't destined to do IN HEAVEN. Scriptures does tells angels can take human form . Do they have reproductive organs we don't know . But there's another way that this can be done these fallen spirits can possess folks and more then likely took on the flesh of Cain line in order to produce a ungodly seed . Just a thought
