    Serpentine belt was changed and now I can hear a loud hum when accelerating.Could it be too tight? Could it possibly be tensioner? How do I check?

    my car grinds when I push on the brakes. I had the rotors and pads replaced, one auto repair shop said it might be the "R&R Serpentine Belt Tensioner". Does this sound right to you? It is a 2002 Toyota Camry. Thanks

      NO your brake pads are worn out don't fall for it might be a serpentine belt tensioner it has nothing to do with your brake pedal they just want your money

    Hi, I am ficing this problem for a few days during this lockdown. Everything is fine until I turn ON the A/C. Immediately on turning the A/C ON my Power Steering is not working, and there is a low battery indicator on the display. On turning OFF the A/C everything is back to normal. Does this mean that my belt is loose or something, or do I need to replace it? Please help.
    As all service stations/mechanics are closed, is there something I can do till the time this lockdown is over.

    Charles what do you think about using 303 protectant on belts? I saw a video saying that 303 can make the belts lasts longer by keeping them from cracking.

    Question guys. Must all the accessories be spinning when you turn on the vehicle? Or will some not be spinning?

    I want to change my car's serpentine belt. Are all belts of the same length?

    • @carsonp.7009
      @carsonp.7009 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      just go to the auto parts store and say you need a belt for your specific car, say the make, model, and year of your car and they will get a belt that fits, also replace the tensioner, same procedure for getting a tensioner

    • @ericoler1
      @ericoler1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      the length is specific to your vehicle and usually only one belt but some Hondas and Toyotas have 2
