That's ridiculous. If he was poor and is spending beyond his means to appear wealthy, it make sense that he might have an inferiority complex because he wants to perceive as a successful, wealthy person but that's not the case because he has a net worth in the billions, why can't he spend it on luxury goods when it doesn't even make a dent on his bank account? It's not illegal or morally wrong for a person who is wealthy to spend on luxury goods. One might argue that it puts food on the table for the people who craft, transport and sell the goods. If luxury goods disappear overnight, many people will be out of a job.

Yes. We Bruneian men only accept Bruneian women to be married. But we have exception for few other races as long he/she lived in Borneo Island. Strict rule for Brunei Royal Family only can marry with Bruneian Malays only. Not for the normal citizen.

As a citizen in the country, we are given much benefits such as free healthcare, free education, no taxes, and such..Even when you're poor, we have this system "Kebajikan" where you can just simply apply...poor people are given $1000 each every year and even monthly allowance like $60 for each children, and even single mothers, disabled people, people with mental illness and some disorders (autism, hyperactive and so on) mualaf (non-Muslim who convert to Muslim) pensioners are also given monthly allowance, around $250...Besides that, you can also get a free house from the government if you're too poor to build one, no need to pay back..This Kebajikan also provide many things for education such as laptop, SIM cards, books, new school uniform, utensils you need, and so on.. If you're lucky, in school, you can also get allowance for wearing glasses..And also, college and university students with yellow IC also get monthly allowance around $300..So which part of it is actually greedy? If the local people don't complain, that means we're happy with our life,,
