I know why he despised Deku at first. he was quirkless, so he wasn’t able to fight as well. He always wanted to be a hero, and didn’t give up. I like the idea that he thought, “ This idiot. If he’s a hero without a quirk he’ll get killed!!!”. He’s like a brother to Deku, and he sees Deku as a brother in my A.U, and he doesn’t want to see someone who’s the closest thing he has to a sibling get killed or injured. He decided to try to get him to stop, but he shows his care and emotions differently than most do, as he probably has bipolar. He’s a kind person who would definitely save Deku, but do to his way of expression, he attempted to bully him out of it, to keep him safe. He stopped bullying and started teasing when Deku got a quirk- nah I’m messing with y’a. In my AU he stopped bullying and started teasing when Deku nearly actually jumped. So he stopped, and when Deku got a quirk he started thinking, “ NO! He just got a quirk!?! He’ll get hurt!!”. So again, he bullied Deku, trying to get him to stop trying to be a hero. That is my fan-fiction so far. I do ship BakuDeku, but that is a very low ship, as they are closer to brothers to me. I prefer KiriBaku, EraserMic, OchaSui, and DekuKami. Those are kinda my ships for this AU, but I have a few more I ship, like TodoDeku, and KiriDeku, and DabiDeku, but in my AU, it is ShigaDeku siblings.
