I'd imagine a quirk like Overhaul would require a knowledge of molecular structures, kind of like Momo's Creation quirk. Chisaki was smart, but it seemed like he had a focus in medical sciences. So while he could put people's bodies together with no problem, he wouldn't be able to, say, make a rocket launcher out of rubble.
@@Holidaemon2516 this, honestly there are a lot I mean a lot of op abilities, mostly every ability could be op but of course, since this has plot they need to write down the downsides, and drawbacks of a character, like imagine how eri can heal all might with her ability if she knew how to control it

Punch but big, yeah super creative.
It was asenine. All she had to do once she'd committed to killing Shiggy was slap him, say something along the lines of "I am impervious to Shigarakis quirk, shigaraki will disintegrate at my touch" and slap him again, OR go bigger and say "i cannot be injured ir destroyed by Decay, I am deadly to all organisms that I touch" and body slam him, then deactivate before she touches amything else. Took me 10 seconds to come up with those and more when reading about her quirk and she couldn't figure it out after 30 years?
@@dflaming1371
That's not how New Order works. She can't enhance her body to that extent. She actually tried to make herself immune to Shigaraki's quirk in a desperate attempt to survive decay, but New Order couldn't stop it, only slow it.
She can't grow herself, if she could than she would have rather than making an air giant. And she already tried to kill him with a deadly touch trick. It wasn't ideal, but it didn't work either way.
@@gojifacepalm3165 Still, there are plenty of easy ways to easy kill him using New Order. She could say something like "Oxygen is repelled by shigaraki"
I was surprised that Rewind wasn't on here because it literally can affect anyone and essentially erase them from existence.
probably because it hasn't had enough screentime to observe its full potential, and its got a big handicap since it requires stored power of some kind, and once that's gone she won't be able to use it
@@Holidaemon2516 The fact that Eri's blood alone can erase quirks seems like it's pretty OP in it's own. We haven't seen Eri use her own quirk a lot but from what little we've seen, I definitely think it still deserves to be on this list. I mean, her blood is being used in the current arc of the manga as we speak and it's become a key element.
@@Holidaemon2516screentime doesn't matter when someone can send you to nothingness. Eri is a kid but if we talking about quirks not characters she is op. @@Quackmire1 He does copy true strength, the only limit his quirk has is their durability, strength≠durability. He scary thing is that new order was overpowering shigaraki with afo. If she didn't limit herself by not lifting the second rule she had on herself and used it for something else she would've beaten shigaraki easily. Shigaraki literally couldn't do anything against her. She kept whooping him until he had touched her. She could easily made herself immune to his decay and power stealing ability if she added a rule to herself to reflect the effects but due to her being a huge all might stan she would not lift the second rule on herself which was the rule she used to mimic all mights strength. She could use two rules at a time. She used one to mimic all mights strength and the second one shed use for whatever. Her being an all might stan was her down fall lol.
Clearly not
The reason for her downfall was that shigaraki didn't have a name (because of his identity crisis)
She wouldn't have been able to counter his quirks or make herself immune to them because she didn't know his actual name
@@Aiden5763 yeah forgot about that but that still doesn't change what I said. She could've put a rule on herself for a better ability than super strength.
