There's a pretty common fan theory that Dennis is nowhere near as attractive as he thinks he is. If he were really that handsome, it seems like other people would react differently, and he wouldn't need to use such creepy ploys.
I might like Charlie more, but Dennis is seriously one of the best written / acted characters I've ever seen. Absolutely hysterical, constantly iconic, and profoundly sociopathic.
@@Bunoin probley can relates to Charlie character more but still able to recognize the brilliance of Denis the character and glen howerton the actor. For example for me my favorite office character is Jim but i honestly can say that Micheal/Steve Carell is what makes the show what it is/was.
I just love how Glenn delivers the, "You. Are. Going. To. LOVE IT" line lmao it's such a great delivery it sounds like he should be talking about a really good steak or something

No thing I didn’t like his dad storyline, The ending was good but I’ve always like the implication that Frank is Charlie’s dad. Also there’s some plotholes with Shelly Kelly

The straight man can change 2-3 times in a single scene, there can be two straight men, then none for a moment, then back to one. Imo, the way they seamlessly pull this off is one of the high points of IASIP. Dennis seems to get a few more straight man lines, and that's why some people call him the straight man of the group. He is not. I think the reason he slightly more of the grounded, straight man lines is for the contrast. We know he's a cold blooded psychopath, but if he were acting that way 100% of the time it would get stale. It makes it much more jarring when he goes off the rails if he was acting well adjusted just a minute beforehand.
