This model of Mercedes Benz, were really beautiful, plus quiet understated. They dominated their market place from 1971 until 1989. That is Amazing! There will never be another mass produced car, that will dominate it's particular position of the market, for this seriously Huge amount of time!....Honestly 18 years is incredible in "Any Industry !" Let alone a style centric business, such as the "Automotive Industry." The R107 is still the epitome of class and style, she is quiet simply Stunningly Gorgeous. I never had the privilege of owning one, but loved this particular model from it's launch at the beginning of the 70's. If I ever found one in this condition, or should I say "state of perfection," I wouldn't hesitate. Thankyou Test Drive Blogs, for showing us this fantastic 560SL, in all her glory.
I'm a Hemi Mopar Man -- muscle car lover myself but I've always had this car in my heart as well, there's something about it that you just can't deny, would love one next to my Hemi, and you gotta love that awesome V8 -- RESPECT
The B, at the shifter, is used for steep descents, the gearbox stays in lower gears (2nd.) to actually allow the engine braking. Back in the day the gearbox would just shift the gears up as the revs went higher with the car gaining speed.
Only two lil things bud, Ppl who watch this kinda video want to see the top raised and lowered, and it's a 170 mph Speedo, but otherwise a very good job on this classic of yesteryear!!
I was surprised with only 20,000 miles on the vehicle that the overflow radiator tank is discolored. No heated seats either that was a very rare option, with the wood steering wheel. I have only seen one of all of the ones that I have looked at to have these options. They are a timeless design, thanks for sharing it.
Yeah well. We take a de door ana lookat de seat and den we closa de door and put inna de key,,, essa dis a one right here and den we start a de car. Dis issa de ashtray and a now we put onna de lights anna pusha de horn forra to wakes uppa alla de poor bastards who arra bored shitless a listening to me.

And also see the hard top on it.
From when Mercs were undoubtably the best of the best.

One of the best machine ever built
😆
This car design better than new super cars
Stunning
Nice car. That after market radio ruined the image in my eyes tho. Should've kept the factory radio this is a classic.
You are absolutely right. Never remove a Becker. Doing that also devalues the car.
N play what on it
I love this R107, shame about the US spec bumpers though.
this is my dream car😥💕
Expensive tyres shows good care from owner to the car, but i see brown color on coolant reservoar, probably the kar has blowing gasket in the past ?

My dream car 😢😢😢😢
very good looking car. I have always wanted to drive one. how come 5.6 litre engine produces on 220HP?
Appu Joseph Jose power was strangled by American emission laws
Take it with a grain of salt, but I've heard somewhere that it produces more power than what's on paper. Closer to 250-260
Is this car still available and how much is it for
I was surprised when I saw the radiator overflow tank was discolored with only 20,000 miles on it.
