Watching it without LCD was more entertaining. WOW Very involved project. Ingenious the way you used the small screen to control dimming of large LED backlight. VERY COOL project.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow! This is like, he just need to put the link to this video in his CV if applying for a job by a TV producer or any electronics producer for that sake, and the job is his, 100%!
Man, you have just created a TV making industry for a single video! Impressive amount of work! Wow.. If you are selling one, I would definitely save money to buy from you rather than from a company..❤ 😮🎉
It not only looks better, but it saves power, marginalizing large OLED displays, as the fewer larger leds are way more robust. You even could use the quicker, lighter, more efficient TN type LCD if the backlight leds are rgbw, so the color still compounds.
Okay! THAT must have been absolute fun building mate! Awesome project, and even more awesome you done it without programming any microcontroller (or even control board for that matter). Love your dedication to this project👍
That is a project of love. Ive found myself in projects where i dont care how much time it takes, it must be done. I really enjoyed watching and learning, that was so interesting when the backlight (bare) was showing Nemo. Youve more than earned my like and sub (plus my sharing it)
Hey mousa , I just wanted to drop a note to say how much I appreciate your creativity and cleverness in your videos. Your latest project is truly impressive and showcases your talent brilliantly. Keep up the fantastic work - looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!
Wow you made local dimming without software
That projector idea is just ingenious, damn
Thats so over engineered i love it
Oh my God! Guy basically just made the craziest optocoupler there is! Absolute madlad

Glad you enjoyed it!
Dude used the best workaround ever with that projector, very clever!
that's the definition of a true engineer...
The LDR's on the projector display is such a cool and hacky idea.
Okay wow that is an absolutely INSANE way to do the algorithm for the local dimming, genuinely ingenious!
"simple projects", bruh that's the most convoluted thing I saw, but fun to watch and instructive !
This analog approach seems to works hilariously good.
You intend to cut costs by using that projector hack but accidentally made it WAY cooler and more interesting. Hats off
Wow, fantastic project. I know this would have taken countless hours ❤
It is one of the rare videos on the internet that is worth the money I spent on it.
Absolutely impressive. Definition of engineering right there❤
Out of the box idea ... Hatts off to you man 🙌
Finally mousa remembered that he has a youtube channel
I was busy :)
Decided to wtach this video on a whim, I was not disappointed. Awesome work, really cool solution.
I'M AMAZED TOO! Seeing behind the LCD is really cool
Wow!
This is like, he just need to put the link to this video in his CV if applying for a job by a TV producer or any electronics producer for that sake, and the job is his, 100%!
Blacklight without display looks so amazing 😍. With this Idea I can make cool show pice...
This is why youtube exists, love it 😊
Proud to be an engineer 👍🏿
you are so underrated- this is genius
That is an impressive project. And the projector advice is useful for multiple projects. Thanks.
The butterfly example was somehow very detailed in the LED form, pretty cool
Huge props to you, that's astonishing on so many levels.
Man, you have just created a TV making industry for a single video!
Impressive amount of work! Wow..
If you are selling one, I would definitely save money to buy from you rather than from a company..❤
😮🎉
Glad you like it
You've put an insane amount of effort there, and the result speaks for itself.
Great work dude, loved it!
That's so over engineered and it works! You're crazy!
Very well enginered, with simple material and basic explanation and methods
Never seen such amazing creativity.. you're awesome
dude this is next level DIYing, insane!
It not only looks better, but it saves power, marginalizing large OLED displays, as the fewer larger leds are way more robust. You even could use the quicker, lighter, more efficient TN type LCD if the backlight leds are rgbw, so the color still compounds.
This is so simple yet genius😮
bro should get a million views at least... great project... i would like to see higher density of leds next
So nice, i love the idea of using the projector and optocouplers.
What an ingenious solution! 🤯
Thank you Mousa this was a great video . I learned a lot and you were straight to the point .
Okay! THAT must have been absolute fun building mate! Awesome project, and even more awesome you done it without programming any microcontroller (or even control board for that matter). Love your dedication to this project👍
Bro..I loved this 👌👌👌 you deserve more views for this video ❤
Its a genius idea, absolutely loved it.
Wow this backlight panel is art!🤩
Insanely wacky. Love it

Thank you, I will
That’s called innovation
I hope future LCD will use this tech!
I had thought about this, and you my man are amazing
Over-simplified an over-engineered project... great!!
dayum the use of projector was something I didn't saw coming
This is awesome, I really hope this gets big, and other creators or even you try to get it more and more DIY'able
Thanks, I'll do my best
lol that's fantastic. Love your work!
Omg funny and smart hack with the projector
Awesome project, the wiring is a nightmare for bigger screens. Someone needs to update this with tiny leds.
Good work!
