@@markpulling12 thanks for your reply! It's literally brand new so a bit sluggish atm I'm assured it'll be quicker after it's first oil change at 600 miles. You invest in paddock stands which is a key element for real bikers. They are great for when cleaning and doing chain maintenance. Also preserves the tyre aswell
@@JDMz modern bike makers do nothing to help you, it's all about cheap production. They don't even have a connector block for the bundle of wires coming from the alt. That's a stunner but I suspect for that reason you'd need a garage for it and I'd even be concerned about leaving it absolutely anywhere in Glasgow - there's so many thieving gits around, they steal push bikes from the city centre with 100s of people walking about... but it looks great and sounds as nice as any 125 I've ever heard (I've owned 2, and an RS100).

Mark meant the price for his age. It'll be high price for you because younger drivers are more of a risk. Also location. Mileage and where the bike is stored plays a major factor in insurance costs.
does this bike have abs, i was looking at the k-light but my older brother advised against it because not having abs can be dangerous in wet weather especially living in the uk
Hi all Chinese bikes apart from the zontes g1 u1 etc have cbs which is combined braking system...it works well the back brake works the front aswell :)
@@adam2jz596cbs is fine. Just don't brake sharp or panic brake. Use the 2 finger method. Cbs is cheaper to service. With abs you can still slide. Plus if an abs module fails outside of warranty. They're an eye watering price. You also have to keep the abs sensors and abs ring clean from debris for them to work properly
The one thing that Really bothers me about this bike is the way they mounted the front caliper. That's going to get hit by curbs, rocks or anything else that's a little bumpy. For a normal motorcycle that's not such a big issue. But most who ride a 125 are very young (from 16 years old here in Norway) and they may not pay attention to small details like a curb. If the front break fails due to damaged, it gets dangerous fast.
@@peterryan7827 mate Do not buy the bike,I have so many problems with mine (gears getting stuck ,the spidometer vibrates I have changed it 1 time and the the shock is skulking
Change the tyres they are cheap cordials, change exhaust cut it off and get a slip on with db killer, change gearing 1 up 1 down as they are undergeared to meet regulations for learners, do all this for around 300 extra (over time) you have a perfect all round bike that will do at least 80mph
@@markpulling12 These are great bikes, i have the RKR and it is of course same engine slightly better performance due to the aerodynamics, The only downside as i say are those areas mentioned above, top speed is limited by the rev limiter but if you notice how short the gearing is for at least the first 3 gears it shows that the bike has been purposefully restricted within a lower rev torque limit(likely to satisfy emissions targets for eu4) the change in gearing will lower only slightly mileage on petrol and a small drop in acceleration but the bike barely touches the first two gears anyway so you will notice it once moving at speed limits. Of course all this requires a mechanics touch and is altering the bike for personal preference
@@Scenicdrive1989 yes the gearing mod sounds great ...I hit the rev limiter on it a couple of times in top ...so that makes good sense to do .. Cheers mark
pretty good price. looks much better than older model keeways. Performance is ok, but 3 spark plugs is rather silly. And 12BHP, its ok, but well down on market leaders. Wonder what the Euro5 makes. Hopefully future UK bike market will do away with euro 4/5 or worse.

I really like your 125cc reviews , no matter the manufacturer .
I am thinking of buying a new 125 as a 3rd bike , just for town commuting on , so looking forward to more reviews , atm the Honda SuperCub gets me thinking , but i've not got blinkers on yet
best regards Shaun
Thanks Shaun...yes great idea getting a 125 as a run around ...you can't beat them for town work
Regards mark
Keeway really need to put that engine in the Superlight & K-Lite.
This green RKF would look better with black wheels , but with green rim tape .
nice review by the way,how much is tha price if we convert into philippine money?
Hi thanks for the comment it's about £3100 gbp which is
212,767.15 peso
Thanks mark
Loving the look of this bike and was wondering,if you have any idea about any probs that may come with these after they have done say 10000 miles or so , by then common probs should show, and the reason i am asking is that i have just been offered one,a 2018 model, and was a little wary, as it is 3 years old aprox ,any advice would be brilliant,Yes loved the video..
Hi Peter sorry I don't know about issues past 10000 miles but these are reliable well built engines and with regular oil changes and care should be good for many years ...with Chinese bikes you must service them regularly .... especially if you are riding constantly through wet cold winters ...I'd recommend this bike looks well built to me
Regards mark
@@markpulling12 Thanks mark so much i have been up and down as to whether to risk it , but as i say the Chinese bikes do seem to be getting better reviews all the time, so thanks again.
Is there any chance of a Herold Brat 125 review? I'm doing my cbt when lockdown is over :)
Yes the brat is cool....Ill see what my dealership has available when the lockdown ends cheers mark
@@markpulling12 Cheers Mark, love the vids :)
Hi Mark hope your well have you ever rode the aprilia rx 125 ? There decent for 125 78mph I had out one.bike wasn't broken in tho give one a try pal see what you think would love to hear your review on that bike mate.great review on the keeway mate 15hp 11kw the aprilia rx mate
No never tried that aprilia but they sound great and quick for a 125
Cheers mark
@@markpulling12 its a crosser type bike mark 905mm seat height cst knobbies I wasn't sure how good knobbies are in the rain until I watched your vids. kp the good work up pal they do a supermoto aprilia sx 125 I've seen that hit 82mph on TH-cam pal but think that was when the lady had already broken in her engine when you look on the net at there specs it says top speed 65mph but trust me there quite abit faster than that lol there both faster than the ninja 125
Would you say it is for people over 1,80m? Because im 1,83 and i think it might me a littlebit too small
Hi you will be big on it but you will be able to ride it ok
The seat isn't that low on these like say a cruiser :)
Regards mark
I have a TNT125 benelli been looking at rkf really nice bike 🏍
I am 6 foot and danglely would this bike be a good fit
Hi Mathew...it would be fine ...another tall 125 is the lexmoto RSS or lxr cheers mark
This might be a stupid question but when you say the insurance price do you mean monthly or yearly
Hi joshua ...i meant yearly for me at 51 years old but for younger riders its going to be alot more cheers mark
Oil sight glass and no mainstand. So how's that meant to work?
Just hold the bike upright and have a glance down at the oil level tom
It's quite easy once you get the hang of it cheers mark
You invest in paddock stands which is a key element for real bikers. They are great for when cleaning and doing chain maintenance. Also preserves the tyre aswell
@@JDMz modern bike makers do nothing to help you, it's all about cheap production. They don't even have a connector block for the bundle of wires coming from the alt. You have have cut the wires if ever you take out the motor. Instrument clusters are sealed so if a bulb goes you're screwed. Superdreams and 400/4s were a work of art compared to bikes now.
Hello, do you think this would be a good choice for me since i am 165 cm tall?
Hi yes it should be fine ...it's quite a light bike and the seat height is low
Best regards mark
@@markpulling12 Thank you Mark !
Any one know valve clerance for this model?
Just seen this video and I have just brought the keeway rkf and there awesome bike and in the same colour green
Great choice jay !
Do you know if it will be good on e10 with this new fuel change coming in summer
E10 fuel just has more ethanol in it ... apparently it's compatible with 95% of vehicles since 2011 ...I think the e5 will still be available as the suoergrade ...cheers mark
Don't use e10. Especially in winter. Use e5 fuel like shell v power. Esso synergy plus 99..
Three spark plugs plus lean burn just says to me that euro emissions regs are getting stupid.
Getting one of these in a few weeks looks brilliant and will be a nice first little bike
Might wonna consider reviewing the lxr 125
Thanks I'll check it out :)
Is the size of this bike similar to a ktm duke 125? I m afriad that the bike will look small when i ride it
Hi yes it's a similar size ...it's quite a nice size and great fun to ride :)
@@markpulling12 would you pick this one over an yzf 125 or a cbr 125?
Yes I'd go for this ;)
@@markpulling12 do you know how fast is it 0-100 ?
@@swifty954 o-100 k pH would be something like 10 seconds :)
Hi! What is your height i am 194 cm that is 6feet 3 and i don t know if i fit this bike. Can u help me?
Hi I'm 5ft 7 you'll be big on this bike but will still be able to ride it ok
You might want to look at tall bikes like the Sinnis smr 125
Cheers mark
Are you able to do a video on lexmoto vendetta 250cc plz
I'll have a look into these donald and see what I can do regards mark
Hey guys, it looks amazing and i am having the opportunity to buy a used one from a dealership at 2k€ with around 400km. I am wondering if someone has feedback on riding it with a passanger on - i am asking simply because i'd like to go on small road trips with my girlfriend which is around 170cm. Another option would be a scooter, the kymco agility 125 r16+. Would appreciate the feedback, cheers
hi friend. Ive seen a guy using this bike for road trips with a passanger and 3 storage units and he said it pulls very nicely and it only burns 2.7L/KM
I have same bike love it
Is this bike for a women? I em short 165cm..
Hi Ivana yes it will be fine ...it's small and light
Best wishes mark
Amazing bike. Thanks Mark........Sal : )
Will the linked brakes affect slow speed manoeuvring practices for mod1 ? Also, how does it perform for emergency braking?
Hi arnie ...the linked brakes work very well for your mod 1 , rear does front and rear and they stop very well in an emergency ,:)
All the best mark
Which year model is this 20 or 21
Hi it's a 20 e4 but the new 21 e5 is the same but more money lol
Regards mark
This Keeway or Zontes U125? What do You thing?
Hi I'd go with the keyway ...it's nearly as nice as the zontes but alot cheaper here in the uk ... thanks Mark
@@markpulling12 Thanks, but isn’t there a difference in power felt in favor of Zontes? Zontes allso has ABS.
@@ukajali6503 you would think the zontes would feel more powerful 14.5 hp vs say 12 hp of the keyway but honestly you can't feel it ....the zontes are beautifully made but the keyway are nice too ...the zontes has a nice upright position the keyway has quite an agressive position
Either one is a winner ...you can't go wrong cheers mark
@@markpulling12 Thank You. Kind regards from Poland!
£200 insurance for a 17yr old Naaaaaa!(I take it that's without L plates?)
Would be around 200 or less for a full licence rider. For 17yr old would be close to 1k or more. Depending on location. Where its stored and how many miles in a year.n
Can i buy it in India and what's the price in indian rupes
autos.maxabout.com/bikes/dealers/keeway
Will it be to small for me??? ( I'm 1.93cm)
Hi dimis ...you will be big on the bike but you'll still be able to ride it ok
125s are generally quite small in their dimensions maybe look at the herald maverick or sinnis terrain etc as they are bigger , failing that get one of these for a year or two then pass your test and then get something bigger
Best regards mark
200 pounds insurance?? I’m 20 and mines coming back at 1000…
Mark meant the price for his age.
@@markpulling12 thank you for the response i appreciate it and with correct use of the brakes this should be safe in all weather conditions?
@@adam2jz596 hi yes it will be fine in bad weather ...no probs 👍
@@adam2jz596cbs is fine. Just don't brake sharp or panic brake. Use the 2 finger method. Cbs is cheaper to service. With abs you can still slide. Plus if an abs module fails outside of warranty. They're an eye watering price. You also have to keep the abs sensors and abs ring clean from debris for them to work properly
I like this bike very much. In holland i cant buy it.. :(
That foot break looks a bit low.
Thanks for that very good point i have just been offered one and am glad of any advice,.

This is obviously ECU restricted . My carburated Chinese air cooled 125 do top 66 mph
Not 66mph gps😂. It'll show 66 on the clock but won't do 66mph gps😂
@@JDMz I'll upload a video of me burning it
Both seats look better padded and more comfy than my ninjas !
They aren't lol! They're well firm so you need to be packing some booty to ride this whip.
Change the tyres they are cheap cordials, change exhaust cut it off and get a slip on with db killer, change gearing 1 up 1 down as they are undergeared to meet regulations for learners, do all this for around 300 extra (over time) you have a perfect all round bike that will do at least 80mph
Cheers thanks for the info :)
Thanks for the comment
Cheers mark
@@markpulling12 no probs. you might like the original, and my tweaked version. But before the ride starts, strap in. The chin camera TT ride isn't seen in races as they are not allowed.

Looks like it has borrowed design ideas from a few manufacturers.
If you can find a workshop that will do the valve clearances on these for under £300 - if they'll touch it at all - I will eat my lid. They'll never be inspected, let alone adjusted.
Just thought I should let you know. You're riding on the wrong side of the road, mate! 😂 just kidding
The E5 versions are more expensive due to the increased VAT due yo brexit.

Top speed 76mph because I limited
It hits the rev limiter in top at 76 mph ...I'm sure someone out there knows how to remove the rev limit on these but it is at 9.5 k rpm so maybe not a good idea lol

i HAVE ONE, IT'S NEVER BEEN OUT IN THE RAIN BUT IS STARTING TO RUST, GO FIGURE AND 60MPH ON THE CLOCK IS 55 MPH TRUE SPEED.
The rust is probably cause by road salt if you've ridden it through the winters

Bollocks
That's because you aint Done proper maintenance. Regular washing with proper motorclcye cleaners. Polishing. Chain cleaning and lubrication. Plus drying the bike off thoroughly and a good coat of acf50 or xcp would prevent your rust and corrosion issues. Lmao
