- In this fly tying tutorial Cheech ties the CDC French Jig!
Le pupu du lac avec blu bla ble. I'm not sure if any of you know that I'm fluent in Spanish. Hence why I don't even know what I wrote there. I digress. This fly has burst on the scene as a dry dropper fly and I'd get asked about it about every day as I worked at our new shop in Idaho Falls. I knew we needed to film it when a guide came in and took every single one of them that we had. I guess it works!

Fly Fish Food - กีฬา
Ordered the green dubbing and it arrived today. Only had time to tie one of these before I went to the river. Tied it on and BAM! Fish on the first drift. Next cast BAM! Straight into a tree and never seen again 😂
Your tying vids are really easy to understand even for the non tyer.
Glad to know I’m not the only one that messes up when tying flies like that 😂 great pattern and video!
A perfect tie is only reserved for Davie Mac, (referencing your "touching turns") truth is the bloopers are extremely entertaining and let's me know you are indeed human and not an alien. (They're all around us you know...I'm still keeping my eye on Brigg)
Fly Is called Sirupčík..and its original czech pattern
Oh boy...what a save! Nice work as always, Mr. Cheech ( 😆 ) It's always a great night to watch a tying master at work. Great job on the Idaho Falls expansion! News to me and only a 17h drive away. Nice~! Keep it up!
Brigham!! I love the immediate blaming of Brigg. Keep it up.
One day, all the shop underlings who get harrassed could make a video together: Brigg, Johnny from Kelly G's shop, etc
Johnny and Brig could probably sit around and just tell stories. Good therapy for both of them.
Awesome CheechO! "Royale Cdc" Just tied a few "Not easy for me" but a fun tie. Thx for sharing👌
Great save!!!
I like to double over the end of my fly line and put a drop of epoxy on the finished knot. Runs through guides smoother.
Huh?
The Duracell Is such a killer
This one is also a killer 😬😬
@@FlyFishFoodtied some tonight!
Could you first present the finished fly for a few seconds before tying a new one? This would help me remember them by taking a screen shot of the fly for the future. Thanks
👍👍👍❤❤
As someone just starting out tying flies, I have a question . For the CDC portion of your video where you used your scissors to slightly trim the length of the barbules, could you also put the CDC clamp just short of the body length of the fly from the ends of the barbules and then when you cut them from the stem they’ll be the length that you need? If you understand my question? Mega Thx for an awesome video that I’m eager to try tying !!!
He’s cutting into them like that to male a rough, uneven, look. If you cut then straight it would look less natural
Pretty complete video,,,,, but you forgot to include the most important part. The part where you tied it to the bumper of your truck and dragged it 1.5 miles 😂. When it came up on TH-cam I said my gawd that's an ugly looking jig,,,I have to investigate.
How old is Brigham ? Is he young ? Is Brigham Young ???? 😂😂😂😂
