In this video, we show you our visit to Qasr Al Watan, the impressive presidential palace of the United Arab Emirates, which has been open to the public since 2019. The palace, which was built between 2010 and 2017 and is dedicated to the people, has some superlatives to offer, including one of the largest domes in the world with a diameter of 37 meters and a chandelier consisting of 350,000 crystal pieces. Another eye-catcher is the sculpture "The Power of Words", whose golden Arabic characters represent a quote from the founder of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Zayed. The quote translates as: “Wealth is not money or oil; wealth lies in people and it is worthless if not dedicated to serve the people.”
