It's close to Halloween and with the season of spooks wrapping it we get creepy in one of my favorite modern indie games: Limbo. A game of trial and error, recklessly throwing yourself at problems until a solution presents itself. With minimalist style and a great atmosphere, Limbo is one of the great indie platformers. Designed to be explored by trial and error, my Limbo review is going to have a lot of struggles ahead. Especially with having to beat the game and limit my amount of deaths. Originally on the Xbox, there's now Limbo PS4 versions and Limbo Switch versions. So pick up this game and realize the scariest part of it all: how you see yourself reflected in this character, in this world...

If you liked this, you’ll love INSIDE, it's even better then limbo. Which is saying a lot.
Overall I personally enjoy Limbo more than Inside, but Inside does have the better ending

Jirard, please take a vacation. Set up whatever you need to do so that other people in your circle can handle things in the meantime. I hope you're still seeing your therapist. You sound absolutely defeated from earlier in Zeldatroid to this video and recent streams. It's at the point that I'm seriously worried for you and that you might break. You bring so much joy to people all the time, but you deserve happiness, too.

You're completely right. He does sound like he could use some vacation, however... his format simply doesn't generate enough view for the team to relax. It's too much effort for too less outcome.

Organous, I'm glad I'm not alone in saying this. Jirard is almost at a million subscribers. There is no excuse for him not to take a break and come back with even better content at this point. It's a shame, since he used to be one of my favorite TH-cam channels and now just makes half-assed videos even though he's burnt out. He has so much potential for better reviews, but ever since the 2 videos a week schedule that he's been doing, I highly doubt that's going to happen.

I like how you used the Hollow Knight Caterpillars in all those eggs
I always thought of the "villages" as other little boys. It adds the depressing/horror element to know that none of the boys will help you in your quest to save your sister

the thing tht is great about the completionist channel is tht u play a lot of older games. i love hearing about the new games, but its always nice to hear about old games tht i never got around to playing!

I really love the random interjections Brett throws in in disbelief! It breaks up the machine gun of info Jirard lays on you. You guys should rotate the other Completionist/Beard Bros/Couch fighters crew into that role! Amanda or Chris throwing sass would be specifically fresh and entertaining.

glad you could do a game like this I don't enjoy watching you slam your self into hard games until your mush every now and then maybe but it is nice to see you do short games like these especially since it is an indie darling now quit hogging all the Brett hugs the rest of the world needs them too!

I love this kind of games they're so simple and yet it's so fun to play
Its one of the only games in my memory that use gamepad vibration the right way. When he climb a rope, its very subtle but theres some little tip/tap coming from the controller. Genius.

Limbo really does take me back to the past, even though I don't think I've ever finished it. While I appreciate the simplicity of this breed of game, it still felt a little minimalist mechanically. Me, I was more into the time-bending challenges found in Braid. Which kind of makes me wish we had more platformers, or games in general, with that kind of instant rewind aspect.

You just got yourself a new subscriber beard dude! That was a fun review, there’s this really nice game I’ve played, that also has a minimum 5 death run if you’re interested, it’s a puzzle plat-former that’s a lot different to limbo, it’s called Hob.
This was a game I played the demo of on the xbox360 but regret never buying. Was nice to see you complete it. Brett cameo is always a plus. Would you complete Vexx or War of the Monsters please?
