That's not wrong you are confusing a guideline for psychiatrists that they use at their discretion based on what the APA has said it applies to vs a psychologist who isn't bound by those rules.
This 'expert''s tone is dripping with condescension and disdain...the other psychologist for Depp at least maintained a neutral tone. Was much more professional. i have it too, unfortunately, and it's killing me, there is not a single normal second, i mean, now it is, but just because i learned to live with that but only alone and fast contact with others just to say hallo and get back to the own world... from other side its not that hard to forget and go on with life (in some moments i feel that too) but again, it really takes a lot of time to be fully faded and turn the pain into strengh, is it possibly, but we have first to know that and after to work on it, with some more time always giving to our selfs to recover...
Seems like the only thing hard for AH was to keep "it in her pants", PTSD my butt, will her next lie be that she's a cancer survivor ? gosh she's so dishonest.
I was thinking the same. Right now, it's a case of he-said-she-said (well, she-said-she-said). Although, for me, the other psychologist seem more convincing. But, again, I think a third party would be helpful.
That would be great. I have ptsd, there are some days where I literally physically can’t get out of bed. Smells, noises, faces that are triggering make me dissociate and shut down. I do not have the most severe ptsd, more high-moderate. PTSD can be EXTREMELY debilitating, no matter the severity. Sorry this Dr just feels like she’s aggravated, like “ugh I have to do this again?” I would feel so uncomfortable under her treatment. If a Dr makes me feel like she’s rolling her eyes mentally, it’s just a turn off
I have C-PTSD, I know what a hard road that is to walk, and not knowing what triggered you (me) is hard especially with smells or a sound. Well any of it really. I hear you, I see you, and I’m sorry that is the path you walk on too.
You and me both. I couldn't even bring herself to watch her rebuttal. She cannot possibly say anything that might make me believe her more than Dr. Curry. I wouldn't go to cry on Dr. Curry's shoulder, either, but I would totally go to her to get plain, objective facts obtained and interpreted to the best of her ability.
Don’t forget this Dr Hughes also stated that Heard’s ‘childhood PTSD **WENT AWAY** and then she got PTSD ***AGAIN-*** from Depp. That is NOT how PTSD works! It doesn’t EVER “go away!!” You manage symptoms, you learn how to stay present & manage triggers. PTSD is also different for someone who has suffered trauma in formative years like throughout childhood (complex PTSD), or through DV situations where there have been repeated traumatic events, or PTSD from a one time traumatic event like a car accident, or a single violent event. First responders & soldiers in war have a different kind of PTSD as well. DO NOT FORGET THERE ARE AN INSANELY HIGH AMOUNT OF TRULY AWFUL “doctors” and therapists out there!! Dr Hughes clearly skewed the tests & her testimony in Heard’s favor…which was the whole point. She used gender specific language throughout her entire testimony - optics matter. Dr Hughes is a highly unreliable “expert.”
I am not a psychologist but even I can tell Amber Heard doesn’t have or didn’t have PTSD. She is the abuser and it shows in the body language!! Compare Johnny and Amber and we can clearly see who was the one being abused verbally at the very LEAST.
When the only complaint AH’s lawyers can conjure up against Dr Curry is that she had a 4-hour dinner with Johnny and his lawyers at Johnny’s home when she was introduced to them for the first time, that’s weak. Firstly, Dr Curry was being interviewed, thoroughly. Secondly, no one eats for 4 hours. They interviewed her for 4 hours and got hungry - so, they opted to order food and share a bottle of wine - like any normal adult human beings would do. How is that unprofessional? After all, she shared muffins with AH.
No not that bitter melon again. Have you guys noticed how bitter and cold looking everyone on heards team are, contrary to depps side. I have a theory of: thats what you become if you dont live a righteous life, living a life of lies and not doin whats right, might be easy, but you turn dark in your soul.
I agree. The similarities are quite uncanny tbh. Scary. Each one of Ambers witnesses seems, looks disheveled, drained, puffy faced, dead eyes, uptight and this is not me projecting at all. It's just so weird lol.
Hughes did it first but 2 years later when she found out curry gave the gold standard test for ptsd, she had quickie appf 10 days later to administer same test. Curry made that embarrassingly clear. Hilarious.
It's suprising for me that she agreed to testify again only to show her incompetence - again. Maybe once she was a good Dr but not anymore unfortunately. I feel truly sorry for real victims of DV who had to deal with her.
@@schmemmm what she is SHOWING, is that she is defending and covering up for her shockingly strongly biased and sloppy assessment. She is so prejudiced, her conformation bias puts her at high risk of being fooled in male/female DV cases. AT KNEW she had her in the bag, so she didn't feel the need to overact her stories, which played in her favor to get this woman's sympathy and "support!" How many cases she might have helped mess up with such strong bias?
I'm sad this misandrist expert was brought back. Beyond her testimony, I can't move past her inability to believe men can be victims too (regardless of this specific case). We should listen to all victims and support them. We can't ignore men's suffering in our attempt to help women and everyone else.
Misandrist is the right word. Yes, many men suffer and that is greatly compounded by their mistreatment in the legal system and media, also by mental health professionals and others, in such cases. Thank you.
I know you said it perfectly!! She is defensive and so typical of that 1980's style feminism that women took to mean "destroy all men" and she clearly hasn't updated anything clinically since then either because that is how outdated her -"tests"- checklists are
She believes men can be victims but only by other men. Thats what she kept saying in her first testimony. Her whole career is about men abusers, she cant have a man win a case like this because it will break her narrative in her life, if Amber wins she is set to make alot more money bring used in future trials. She's a biased and pathetic excuse for victims rights
No, it's normal. We tend to surround ourselves with people who look like us. You can see the same thing with Depp's team (introverts, calm, caring, supportive, highly qualified in their fields).
All she can effectively say to rebut dr. Curry’s claim is that “she took measures” to see how much Heard was distorting thing for the betterment of herself. Whatever those measures were I think I know why she didn’t explain them. To claim to know anything about psychology and also claim that you KNOW amber is a victim by the few tests you ran and that you KNOW Johnny is the abuser without an examination of any kind is either fallacy or straight up mendacious. This lady is unprofessional and it will be hard for her to find decent work after this.
it's insane she claimed that, first year psychology students are taught that they can't assess events and assessing a person is very specific, she shouldn't be head of trauma division because she obviously doesn't use instruments properly but instead falls for her own confirmation bias. but she will find work, few people understand truly how good psychologists acts and more importantly how to cut them down. it's so obvious that amber duped this lady good because amber is very sophisticated socially. and ambr doesn't have PTSD. and she is borderline. this psychologist just uses same instruments Dr curry uses but incorrectly as she explained. amber if she guesses corectly what test is testing fools it, as is common for socially sophisticated intelligent people.
The one who takes money for her testimony. During that time she saw Amber, she not only misconstrued the elevation but also evaluate Johnny without meeting him. I still believe the psychologist who was interviewed by Johnny Depp's team.
@@str8harry you only go to jail as the result of a criminal trial - we should be writing the AG to prosecute her for perjury (her lying in her sworn testimony is a crime - perjury) - what Turd did in that courtroom is in insult to everyone who watched!
This paid actor takes minutes to answer questions, but when Dr.Curry used more than 5 seconds to answer Elaine started whining her about being on tight time schedule. What an farce.
Not a psychologist so can't comment on the discipline centred methodologies. But when it comes to ethical issue, i think this expert is at fault for "evaluating" JD without meeting him even once. This is common sense and against the APA guidelines (as confirmed by the professor of psychiatry from Stanford yesterday).
The Goldwater guidelines are determined by the APA. The APA is the American Psychiatric Association not the American Psychological Association. It applies to Psychiatrists when talking outside the scope of courts with information only from the media.
@@schmemmm @schmemmm Not sure what your response is to. There are two APAs: the difference is only what the letter "P" represents: one is psychological and the other psychiatric. Goldwater rule is a specific rule of the Psychiatric Assoc. However, by invoking that, the door was opened to the ethical aspects of professional conduct in clinical psychology as well. Drs. Curry and Hughes are psychologists (clinical) and not psychiatrists. So they would be bound by the guidelines of the psychological association, and any other professional organisation they are members of. However, the ethical framework of both the APAs are more or less the same. Therefore, the professor of psychiatry from Stanford, even though he was primarily rebutting AH's witness, the "strange" psychiatrist from Virginia, on ethical grounds, his rebuttal, by implication, also impugned the "diagnosis" of JD by Dr. Hughes in her first testimony - she had never met or spoken to JD for that. This then became one of the central rebutting points for Dr. Curry yesterday, as regards Dr. Hughes' first testimony.
Idk Johnny Depp seems to have multiple personalities. I myself have seen him as a pirate, an owner of a chocolate factory, a Mad hatter and a drugged up loon in vegas. Where as with amber it's more stable as I don't remember seeing her as anything but a bad actress.
@@BeChurNao My response is to people saying the goldwater guidelines were breached by psychologists in a court setting because people are confusing the American Psychological Association with the American Psychiatric Association. Further to that they are confusing the difference between guidelines and law and the APAs previous rulings on a myriad of exceptions to that guideline, because the guidelines were made to stop psychiatrists commenting on public figures in the public sphere based on only media coverage. The guidelines were not about forensic psychology or criminal cases or any other myriad of things. It says in the guidelines they should make every effort to do so. Every effort to do so was also made but denied. If you believe that goldwater applies then you are essentially saying no one can have anyone comment unless court ordered, which you would expect in a criminal trial but not in a defamation trial.
"...Dr. Curry seems confused"....OMG! One does NOT ever disrespect an equals' opinion. Well, in this case they aren't equal but it's not on! to tear down another
She's lying to herself. I'm sure the jury is competent enough to decipher between a confused plank like her and the eloquent well-spoken and direct Dr. Curry
Damn I'm a moron and I know she's lying. "I used a standard forensic procedure" OK.... but she explained while your procedure was standard, and even forensic - none of the 3 tests you administered were valid in the WAY they were applied. Depp's witness explained in crystal clear detail why her tests were nonsense in the context that they were applied. You can't hand someone a checklist on trial and say "Can you check the boxes that [ARE OBVIOUSLY GOING TO IMPLY A DIAGNOSIS] apply to you?" It's ridiculous.
@@cerriberry6835 uhhh, that person never mentioned they didn't understand what was happening in the trial. They said they were waiting to see what lies this Dr was going to spill. Simmer down there....
The problem with this psychologist’s assessment vs Dr Curry’s is that what Dr. Curry testified to is literally playing out in the court room. There is evidence and examples of everything she assessed about AH, whereas, this woman is painting her out to be anxious and traumatized. AH does not appear anxious or traumatized in court. I only have a bachelors in psych and this is clear to see.
Thank you, she looks unphased. I see no signs of trauma in amber at all. I don't believe there is anything wrong with amber. She created everything that's happening to her.
No Amber Heard seems more like she is more concerned with convincing the court that what she says and only what shes says is true . Sign of a controlling abuser. She NEEDS to be seen as right.
I agree. AH actually “performed” in real time each criterion of BPD. Even today, she couldn’t help but keep talking and embellishing almost every question asked including her claim that a previous witness was not present at Trailer Park Palace.
I'm not a psychologist but a teacher, and AH doesn't seem to me anxious, either. Most of the time, she very much reminds of a student caught unprepared or cheating, who is unsuccessfully trying to hide feeling slighted and angry at being caught, and holding the teacher to blame instead of themselves.
She better lose her board certification after this trial… She clearly doesn’t know what she’s talking about. That, or she just doesn’t understand the difference between being a therapist and a forensic psychologist.
This woman said a lot without really having us understand it, this was done on purpose. Dr. Curry on the other hand, made everything made perfect sense.
I'm convinced that Amber and all her witnesses had the same terrible acting coach before this trial started. They aren't very convincing, and they all at some point give this stupid looking "I got this" smirk that would actually suggest the complete opposite.
Dr Curry was significantly more detailed and assured. She gave reasoned answers with supporting facts. Amber’s Witness came with a weak rebuttal based on opinion and a sense of having been eclipsed by Curry’s rational and reasoned presentation. It wasn’t a convincing rebuttal as much as a defence of the weakness of her method. She sat there huffing and puffing as she slid down hill.
Psychiatry aside, we lay people (including the jury), backed by court evidence and from their body language, can see rather clearly the abuser and the abused, and whether AH does suffer from PTSD
Wayne Dennison handed Dr. Karen her a$$. He appeared more knowledgeable about her area of "expertise" than she did. She knew she was getting publicly schooled, because as time went on you could see her getting more and more defensive and aggressive. That's the day she realized that she was far from the smartest person in the room.
Amber's lawyers and witnesses are really risking it in participating in this trial. They are also being scrutinized by the public that can also ruin them.
If she has PTSD it's because of her killing a friend in an accident not cause johnny beat her there is plenty of evidence to prove she was the abusive one in the relationship
You can spend years married to someone and be blindsided by cheating and lies. How many years Amber was being seen by therapists does not mean she was being honest in their sessions. Only Dr Curry provided AH with rigorous impartial testing to identify markers of whether she was exaggerating or downplaying her mental health conditions - which she was found to be doing. Dr Hughes is unprofessional by comparison for someone who likes to remind people she is board certified.
If I wanted someone who agreed with me about what I wanted to be happening with me, I would go to this Dr. If I wanted an accurate opinion because I didn’t know and wanted the truth, I would go to Dr Curry.
Someone can still lie without being extreme. Just because Amber didnt claim, extreme, she wasnt lying. What a joke! Maybe she was trying to make it look realistic. This woman is a dumb dumb. Someone take her license away from her
What I can't stand about amber and her team is they never look at who's asking the question directly. They all look around while talking especially looking at the jury like there acting. I've noticed Johnny's team looks straight at the attorney or screen while on the stand.
To be fair the jury is who they’re supposed to direct their answers to as their answers are for the jury’s understanding. Hughes testifies a lot so she knows this and I’m sure Ambers lawyers have told their witnesses to look directly at the jury as it is supposed to help create a bond with them. The problem for AH’s lawyers is that Hughes just isn’t likeable. She’s arrogant. Does not seek to establish any bond with the jury. Amber certainly was told to answer directly to the jury for the same reasons. Problem is Amber did it so much it just reinforced her already exaggerated performative testimony and it screamed inauthenticity. I think with Depp, because he’s so shy, his lawyers felt it would not be good for JD to be any other way than how he usually is. So on the rare occasions Depp DID talk directly to the jury, it only increased his coming across as extremely authentic.
Idk why amber hasn't started having criminal charges brought against her yet. She is a proven abuser. Johnny isn't the only one whose been apart of her life to get abused.
I wish this Doctors position in the AA Of Psychiatry be questioned, among their colleagues. She is being defensive and condescending. Even a layperson can say that it is wrong to give an professional opinion about someone without evaluating them personally which Dr. Curry actually did with Amber Heard.
As people tend to base their recollection of any presentation only for a max of 20% on content and 80% on the overall experience and mood, I don’t think dragon lady’s testimony will help Heard’s case much
The fact that she is the president pf some psychology association shows 2 things 1. She is not confident of herself and felt like mentioning it to jury to make them believe her 2. She might not be vey good at what she does thats why she has time for politics
@@kilvishyadav sure. But you need to be careful to not fall into a herd mentality. It is totally fine to dislike or disagree with someone on merit, but if you don't have anything to really criticize don't fall into the trap of crisitism to try and fit in with the herd. This is a tricky comparison here because on paper it appears like Hughs is more qualified compared to Curry. Is Curry more likable, yes but that doesn't inherently make her right. In this case I don't inherently know if the way Hughs used the test is wrong. It doesn't state it in the instructions of the test as pointed out, but she is a more "expert" witness than Curry... This is a much tougher comparison
Usually people with PTSD cannot stand having people take their pictures. Because it makes them feel violated and suffocated for space and privacy. And that the photos might be used against them. I have ptsd from life and not physical abuse. And the very first thing that always triggered me was cameras being pointed in my direction. Because I was feeling at my lowest and didn't want the world to see me that way. AMBER on the other hand, Sucked up as many cameras as she could. Like she was putting on a display for the world. Which comes off as very premeditated.
I'm truly sorry for your experiences. Maybe this person was an exception, or maybe she used some sort of medication in order to not have symptoms when cameras approached her, as she's a public figure. I'm not sure how that would be achieved or if it would be possible, though.
presidents of professional boards are elected by the voting members, not their clients or as the best doctors representing their organizations. You have to remember that practicing and popular doctors may not participate in the association and may be too busy to run for a board instead of running a practice. It means any member can be a member of an association board if they are not busy enough in real life to run them
@@hyu8826 yes that's true but it doesn't matter! As a psychologist you can never JUST rely on self-assessments and self-report checklists to diagnose somebody... It's like the first thing you learn in grad school! Undergrad even!

Why is she keeps on saying, "like I told you last time?" , "like I said last time", "like I said th before", it is so unprofessional. It sounds like she is fed up with this case. And.. using all the acronyms that most people in the courtroom or anyone watching this video understand what they are.
She has a certain look and fake smile. I would be incredibly uncomfortable if I walk into her office and had her as a person I'm supposed to open up to. And the death look she gives when there is an objection, that's not professional at all.
At this point, even common sense contradicts her PTSD. ¿What kind of person with severe PTSD can work out, keep their job, read scripts, testify on a trial, act in a movie, go out with friends, etc?
Dr Curry said it’s inappropriate for psychologists to DETERMINE in an evaluation setting -(not therapeutic & not clinical setting) whether or not an act of violence occurred. Neither of them Dr Hughes nor Dr Curry was there. And the legal evidence is overwhelming that there are plenty of reasons to BE highly suspect of AH & that she’s an unreliable narrator & very sophisticated in her gaslighting attempts with a certain type of audience- ie Hughes. And Hughes knows exactly what Dr Curry (notice how Hughes was so disrespectful and refused to call Dr Curry by her honorific title- she said “Shannon Curry”- this woman is very like Amber in the sense she was seething inside) was referring to. The legal determination as to whether violence was perpetrated on Heard. What Hughes was doing was classic Trumpian Gish galloping.

@@RexTorres yep maybe if possible, a psychologist who have 30 years of experience, have superior in knowledge about the topic than the other two psychologists (can be their senior or something) and will be paid a huge amount of money to stay neutral from both sides of the party. Seems exaggerated but what the heck.
@@RexTorres lol not rly. or you do your job or you don't. clearly they want you to think u have to choose your side but as dr curry said their job is to provide the results to the fact finder not 'present' to them some who you think is telling the truth. thats why here you have TEST RESULTS vs 'expert witness opinions' based on what he/she said so... once again or you DO your JOB or you DON'T just sticking to the side of the party that hired you... none of witnesses called by plaintiff was desperately holding their claims as those called by defendant here. and my questions is why Amber's team just use smearing tactics on every single witness huh? no arguments? no evidence that wasn't modified in some editing software? they proofs are just ridiculous and are based on their narrative: drugs=being abuser
@@godzilla928 Point blank periodt!!
Well said 👏 👌 👍 🙌
I have ptsd, there are some days where I literally physically can’t get out of bed.
Dr. Hughes exudes bitterness! Condescending, patronizing to the jury and self-righteous. Not the best choice for an expert witness😉 She triggers me😬
You and me both.
And muffins. The horror!
And shes not board certified. 🤣🤣. Elaine couldnt argue on the facts.
No not that bitter melon again. Have you guys noticed how bitter and cold looking everyone on heards team are, contrary to depps side. I have a theory of: thats what you become if you dont live a righteous life, living a life of lies and not doin whats right, might be easy, but you turn dark in your soul.
Maybe relatives
Hilarious.
She said, "seems like Dr Curry is confused"..... really, really, really really, seems like not Dr Curry, but you maam are!
🤣🤣🤣 definitely
Of course, she wouldn't agree with everything Dr. Curry has stated 🙄 😒 😑.
The people helping Amber in this trial are hopelessly pitiful. It must be hard to defend a liar when you yourself have to lie as well.
For the right amount ppl are willing to sell out.
It's suprising for me that she agreed to testify again only to show her incompetence - again.
Maybe once she was a good Dr but not anymore unfortunately. I feel truly sorry for real victims of DV who had to deal with her.
I was thinking the same thing. She should have stayed home and hope everyone will eventually forget about her testimony.
She hasn't shown incompetence. What she is saying is true.
She is a misandrist
@@schmemmm what she is SHOWING, is that she is defending and covering up for her shockingly strongly biased and sloppy assessment. She is so prejudiced, her conformation bias puts her at high risk of being fooled in male/female DV cases. AT KNEW she had her in the bag, so she didn't feel the need to overact her stories, which played in her favor to get this woman's sympathy and "support!" How many cases she might have helped mess up with such strong bias?
I fee sorry for poor child staying with that nut job
She really is tired of telling lies for amber you can see it but she lied under oath so she must keep it coming. I believe doctor curry as an expert.
Thank you.
Well she did say men COULD be victims (in a same sex marriage) 🙄🤦♂️
I know you said it perfectly!! She is defensive and so typical of that 1980's style feminism that women took to mean "destroy all men" and she clearly hasn't updated anything clinically since then either because that is how outdated her -"tests"- checklists are
She believes men can be victims but only by other men. Thats what she kept saying in her first testimony. Her whole career is about men abusers, she cant have a man win a case like this because it will break her narrative in her life, if Amber wins she is set to make alot more money bring used in future trials. She's a biased and pathetic excuse for victims rights
Isn’t it weird all ambers experts all look like her and they all look drained the lies really taking a toll on them I’m all for it
Yes…🤣🤣
I think they are all family members!!!
Aunt
Uncle
Cuz
Sister… 🤣🤣🤣
No, it's normal. We tend to surround ourselves with people who look like us. You can see the same thing with Depp's team (introverts, calm, caring, supportive, highly qualified in their fields).
Addressing Dr. Curry as just "Shannon Curry" in court? Rude and unprofessional right fr the start. She and Amber were plucked out of the same bird.
Not the same bird, but the same turd for sure~
not this expert again, wonder how much she has been paid to lie for Amber 😂👍
Exactly they're good at asking JD witnesses how much they get
Malingering and feigning, like using dialogue taken from movies, isn't that feigning?
She has lied all the way through the trial!!!
ItsColdBro, she with the board will she can cancelled after this pathetic unethical practice?
All she says is I told you - believe me because I'm board certified
The one who takes money for her testimony. During that time she saw Amber, she not only misconstrued the elevation but also evaluate Johnny without meeting him.
I still believe the psychologist who was interviewed by Johnny Depp's team.
She didn't evaluate Johnny. Please, let's stick to the truth. Also, Dr Curry also takes money for her testimony.
It's embarrassing that this trial has gone on this long. Team amber couldn't fail any harder if they wanted to.
Sad thing is, Amber probably won't even have to pay anything or serve any jail time.
@@str8harry you only go to jail as the result of a criminal trial - we should be writing the AG to prosecute her for perjury (her lying in her sworn testimony is a crime - perjury) - what Turd did in that courtroom is in insult to everyone who watched!
@@GohansMom9001 yeah that's what I was referring to haha
I’m surprised she no longer have her notes 📝 this time 😝 I still don’t find her credible!
Curry
Unless there's been malpractice. When I agree Mr. Curry has not committed an act of malpractice
Damn I'm a moron and I know she's lying.
"I used a standard forensic procedure"
OK.... but she explained while your procedure was standard, and even forensic - none of the 3 tests you administered were valid in the WAY they were applied.
Depp's witness explained in crystal clear detail why her tests were nonsense in the context that they were applied. You can't hand someone a checklist on trial and say "Can you check the boxes that [ARE OBVIOUSLY GOING TO IMPLY A DIAGNOSIS] apply to you?"
It's ridiculous.
@4:00 Ok, so amber has decided to wear 4 rings now, guess from whom she's got inspiration from.......... LOL *🤦♀️

This trial showed me you can definitely find paid ‘experts’ willing to say whatever you want
@@irena4545 excellent analogy
She better lose her board certification after this trial… She clearly doesn’t know what she’s talking about. That, or she just doesn’t understand the difference between being a therapist and a forensic psychologist.
She just sounds like a miserable housewife than a doctor..
This woman said a lot without really having us understand it, this was done on purpose. Dr. Curry on the other hand, made everything made perfect sense.
It is believable that Amber had rehearsed and practiced her testing with this Dr. Learning from her attorneys and from the interviews with Dr. Curry
I'm convinced that Amber and all her witnesses had the same terrible acting coach before this trial started. They aren't very convincing, and they all at some point give this stupid looking "I got this" smirk that would actually suggest the complete opposite.
That's cause they had Jussie Smollett's acting coach
@@ceciley9629 🤣🤣💯
This clinical psychologist, not psychiatrist, was hired for Heards' benefit. No matter what, she is paid to represent Heard.
her psychiatrist was even better 😂
Dr Curry was significantly more detailed and assured. She gave reasoned answers with supporting facts. Amber’s Witness came with a weak rebuttal based on opinion and a sense of having been eclipsed by Curry’s rational and reasoned presentation. It wasn’t a convincing rebuttal as much as a defence of the weakness of her method. She sat there huffing and puffing as she slid down hill.
she’s a misandrist. Lost credibility at that point.
Psychiatry aside, we lay people (including the jury), backed by court evidence and from their body language, can see rather clearly the abuser and the abused, and whether AH does suffer from PTSD
You mean "jurors," not "juries." There's only one jury.
@@justleon721 Thanks for the correction
Wayne Dennison handed Dr. Karen her a$$. He appeared more knowledgeable about her area of "expertise" than she did. She knew she was getting publicly schooled, because as time went on you could see her getting more and more defensive and aggressive. That's the day she realized that she was far from the smartest person in the room.
Total Karen right there 😆
Literally bullshitting her way through this
Amber's lawyers and witnesses are really risking it in participating in this trial. They are also being scrutinized by the public that can also ruin them.
If she has PTSD it's because of her killing a friend in an accident not cause johnny beat her there is plenty of evidence to prove she was the abusive one in the relationship
Why is she literally staring at the jury? It's so cringey..
Dr Hughes is unprofessional by comparison for someone who likes to remind people she is board certified.
who wants to see a separate trial between curry and hughes?
All the psychology/psychiatry professionals from this trial in a room for 4 hours, discussing everything. Would be interesting.
Someone take her license away from her
I don't think Amber knows how to cry; not matter the situation.
Just about every witness and legal eagle on the AH side have managed to drive their career off a cliff
In my experience when people use nothing but "big" words they talking a big load of crap.
Good example of psycho-babble.
We are all pretty much in agreement that Dr. Curry is right.
This “doctor” needs to be tested
This is good because she Can't blame her actions on being crazy.
Why can’t we have Judge Judy on this case
I wish this Doctors position in the AA Of Psychiatry be questioned, among their colleagues. She is being defensive and condescending. Even a layperson can say that it is wrong to give an professional opinion about someone without evaluating them personally which Dr. Curry actually did with Amber Heard.
Also her bias against men as Domestic violence victims seems to be pretty clear from her statements.
I don't believe her at all
Anyone else tired of hearing Amber's lawyers 🤦♂️
As people tend to base their recollection of any presentation only for a max of 20% on content and 80% on the overall experience and mood, I don’t think dragon lady’s testimony will help Heard’s case much
The fact that she is the president pf some psychology association shows 2 things
1. She is not confident of herself and felt like mentioning it to jury to make them believe her
2. She might not be vey good at what she does thats why she has time for politics
To be fair to point 1, they are supposed to talk about what qualifies them as an expert.

How can this lady ever testify in court smh the system needs to be looked at
I want to see all these opposing experts arguing it out in a room!!
6 visits and over 29 hours. So her session lasts for 5 hours???
How many mental health professionals diagnose a person they have never met or interviewed?

For a board certified expert not following simple instructions is concerning
Why is she keeps on saying, "like I told you last time?" , "like I said last time", "like I said th before", it is so unprofessional. It sounds like she is fed up with this case. And.. using all the acronyms that most people in the courtroom or anyone watching this video understand what they are.
She has a certain look and fake smile. I would be incredibly uncomfortable if I walk into her office and had her as a person I'm supposed to open up to. And the death look she gives when there is an objection, that's not professional at all.

Would have probably been more appropriate for another psychologist to offer an opinion on both testimony.
She’s an angry Karen.

At this point, even common sense contradicts her PTSD.
¿What kind of person with severe PTSD can work out, keep their job, read scripts, testify on a trial, act in a movie, go out with friends, etc?
Totally unrelated to the docs rebuttal. How in the heck is it that AH and Johnny dress the same?! 😆🧐
She’s about to have PTSD from this trial knowing she lied so much.
