I love reincarnation animes because although the main idea is the same the storyline can still vary from others. This one in particular is the first one I've seen where the prince is indifferent to the heroine, because its not like he was engaged to the villianess prior to her appearance either.

The way I knew it was probably the blonde dude with freckles who was responsible for the situation. His aggression towards Alicia was so extra lol. Also, back to my theory….I feel I'm onto something with believing Alicia, Prince Duke, & Liz are all reincarnations. However, instead of thinking Liz is a true villain, I think she might be like Alicia. Whoever reincarnated as Liz might want to be the best heroine and bask in the experience but doesn't care about the consequences. They might've played the game too in their past life, because why else would she use mind manipulating magic. And I think she doesn't like Alicia because she can't be controlled and is changing things. For example, brother Henri & Prince Duke. Also Prince Duke has been different since the beginning as children. And who was Mel? He was talking to them in his room at the start of Ep2. He asked them to look into someone. I've heard that in the web novel she's a lot more ruthless in this scene. Stabbing one guy through the heart and destroying another guy's eye by spitting a tooth at him. When she was stopped she was straight up ready to kill the guy in front of her. I can't say for certain though as I'm not able to read Japanese. This version of it though is in line with the manga.

Seeing how Liz just missed writting out the steps needed for accomplishing her goals, and recognized the boons of the land, and her words being called sincere, there's an admirable truth in her. After all, smart people are open to new ideas and willing to adjust instead of just fully changing.

That girl is the embodiment of unrealistic. Even idealistic people have their limits. If she is evil, I'm just going to be done with this show. Just watched the last episode aired and I love the main heroine so much 💗 She is so determined 👌 Btw, despite this anime being a cliche Villainness story, but it's refreshing in some ways. Especially the part with some slums in the forest. For example, Will's character, who is very mysterious. I suspect that he could be from the royal family 😮

Now that scene happened, but, things were off. Alicia DID look like the assailant. A hero WOULD convince others to act less violent.
Something about that scene felt more scripted than the previous.
Why would a knight so easily dismiss thier title? The title of a defender at a time and at the face if those they should be defending; The reason they been training for years!!?!!

Later, Liz tried to put the blame on her, and if the prince didn't stop her, she could succeed. All was definitely staged to make Liz the real heroine who took down the Villainness. And all guys were manipulated to not intervene, even her brothers, which is especially cruel towards her

How the boys around her can just smile happily and agree with what Liz says is ridiculous. she literally said she believed the power of friendship would save her if she got in trouble. And the Duke is right. she would have allowed Alicia and Jill to die if it meant she could stop violence by asking nicely. also, did anyone else notice she never said the Duke was wrong about what he said she would do? Liz only replied their deaths would matter, not that she would save them, and if you paid close attention to the scene it was like Liz was waiting for those men and made it so the man could attack and kill Alicia with his his knife. Liz did not expect the Duke and I think the Duke realised Liz was involved somehow. Yes she was told where to look for Alicia, but she knew exactly where to go. how?
I'm hoping Liz is also a reincarnation because how she acts is just cringe. She's made being a saint her whole personality to the point her actions just feel soooo false and scripted. It would explain things. I have a feeling Liz wants Alicia dead because she's changed the original plot to much. also, can a saint lose their power if they are a false person?
