In my country we have a thing called “vild med vilje” which basically mean wild by choice. We had a country wide competition about being the best in doing that although it mostly just meant a lot of people bought some seed packets with “native” plants. Didn’t make the biggest difference but at least there are now more community places that have flowerbeds with them. But the whole idea of having a wild garden is slowly growing in popularity. Personally in my home we have lots of flowerbeds and multiple plants that are good for bees and other insects. We also have paths through tall grass and only remove weeds in some of our flowerbeds. But my parents are nature people and my father works as a biologist so it makes sense we would work to have a biological diverse garden and help educate others on how to do so
This got recommended to me and after watching a bit into it I felt really nostalgic and then I realized I used to watch you all the time when I was younger! It was such a blast from the past to see your vids again
Hey seri, Been a loyal subscriber for years and love animals(I got too many of my own lol) But I don't know if you know that you named this episode 3 when it's episode 4😅🐾Be safe
my mom hates fake plants because they don't help, they only look good and so whenever we buy plants she in insitant that we get large and beautiful ones so it will help the environment. :D
The main reason you want kids to know cursive is because all our historical documents were written in cursive. It's not a skill we really want dying. But the main concern is about being able to read it, more than write it.
As someone married to a real-life historian, I can appreciate this! ... though I also wonder when the last time I've read a primary source document in cursive was...
@@seripixelbiologist It's more about avoiding an "Animal Farm" situation. People do go and see the original documents all the time, so we CAN go and check it out whenever we feel it necessary. Honestly though, cursive isn't largely focused in school, they sweep through it quick, since like you said, few people really write by hand anymore.
