Huyen, a suggestion: why don't you repair your house with more security... you can make the floor of your house using large rocks ... you can find the rocks in the river and make a drain or a ditch so when it rains it can drain...another suggestion can be put a tarp on the roof like you did the fish pond and put new palm leaves on top... I think I understand that this is the time of much rain because here in Puerto Rico is also the same time of hurricanes or cyclones....
