From the ancient, and begining of Religion, as education arm of government. there has always been rivalry between Christian and Islam, both are the most popular, and from middleast.
IIn the begiining, slam was progressive, innovative and creative, they invent things like trade in crafst, cloths and spices.
This lead to them being adopted all over middleast and Asia.
Up to Todays Turkey, under Ottoman empire.
they even took over from Roman empire and control some regions in Europe.
However, Islam relaxed and stop being innovative.
From 16th century, the Islan ottomans, lost all its wealth due to exremist religion ideas, which does not encourage innovations and businesses.
example; just recently Afhganistans was opening up for businessess, but once the Taliban took over, they imposed retrogressive ideas.
like the muslim north in Nigeria poverty took over again.
Then, the christian, also from middleast adopted by the Europeans, became innovative, they build ships, explored the world, and conquered the world.
Later they move to manufacturing and weaken the Christian religion for business and manufacturing,.
They became wealthy, and has continued till today.
Hence, they have peace in their regions.
Dubai adopted the same liberal Islam religion of European ideaologist, and became wealthy, now, Saudi Arabia is copying them.
In The Nigeria south, since the beginning of the take over of these extreme pentecostal churches.
that only build chuch branches all over the cities and villages in Nigera, without bulding any industries, or training young mens in business ideas, manufacturing, farming e.t.c, the south Nigeria too is becoming poorer.
In conclusion, exteme religion beleives is retrogressive, and often leads to porverty, religion should be pratice liberally, these wil encourage growth in the society.
