Not uncommon. Basically everybody in the top 20 started playing chess at like 10 and became GMs before 21. Levy didn't hyperfocus on the GM title early enough and now can't bother because it would burn out his hairline and turn him into Tal with all the stress of prepping and playing strong players

I find the position at 14:04 very aesthetically pleasing. Both sides have withdrawn back to mostly their second rank, a Pawn and Bishop each hold the last vanguard, the White's shock troops seal the breach in the wall, it's like a calm in the eye of the storm, a re-breather in the midst of a medieval battle.

It is amazing to see these kids play. I think chess will go through a huge "levelling up" over the next 10 to 20 years as the combination of youth with computers (for training/analysis but perhaps more importantly just for the unprecedented access to playing games with other high level players to push their experience) is creating opportunities never seen before. Fantastic.

So I had a classmate who was very overly confident saying were bad at chess everytime he took a chess piece, during that game I asked the other person playing if they want help and said yes so I did.
I checkmated the overly confident person in 7 moves. They at the end had 17 blunders 12 mistakes and 6 missed wins.
This was a 42th move.
Idiot said I was cheating, they didn’t know how the pieces moved and tried to move my peices on my screen by touching my screen, they blundered their queen in move 6 and abused report button.

after pawn f4 to try to trap the bishop there is pawn e3 if pawn takes bishop queen h5 is checkmate so black has to defend by probably playing e6 here after qh5 check king e7 pawn takes f4 pawn takes f4 bishop takes f4 white is just up a pawn and black has lost castling rights and he is magnus so he sees all this

My question is, whether you think, it was because Magnus just hold back in the first game or was it simply because he played with the white pieces in game number 2?
