    Not only was this 45 minute jam fantastic in its build-up, it was also a detailed tutorial on how to push the buttons and twist the knobs for maximum mileage out of this small Volca. Those knobs must have travelled many kilometers under your hands after all those years, but it is all worth it for the soundscapes you create. In "Interstellar" you go fully crazy and I love it!

    I just discovered your music and going through listening to your old videos while working and I'm really enjoying them. It's amazing how much you do with one tiny synth. I'm looking on ebay for a volca bass now!

    I have one of these and love it! I also have a Behringer TD-3 which has some similarities. I much prefer the sequencer on the Volca and it gets a wider range of sounds too, IMO. The Behringer has a superior interface though, both MIDI n and out, 1/4 audio jack, very well designed body. For me the Volca is something I'd play as a lead, as opposed to the TD-3 which is a back up. I love the ease of switching between sequences on the TD-3. But the slide on the ribbon keys is a great thing all by itself. I could see playing this little Korg as my only instrument, much like my guitar.

    I really want to know how it sounds Like the whole machine I can't seem to find like a pre sets thing and it full potential? Also because I still might buy one but for that reason what I've heard sounds nice but doesn't have much range in sounds and efx like the Key's! The keys is a monster little bad ass plastic analog thing e! Haha I think ahead of what I want to order next even though I just got the XD and the east beast and I haven't figured out the models cycle yet. But for volcas I want next either the drum FM or bass . Probably the FM2.

    I have a stupid question: as you are playing using "note" and not "step" mode, if in, sync out, then, you enter in sync in into Korg Volca Drum, will it synchronize it?

    • @Volcaniced

    your skills are unmatched! beautiful stuff. Did you just teach yourself playing on all the volcas?

    • @Volcaniced
      @Volcaniced  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmmm.. don't know if this was a "teaching" ... It's more intuitive. I just sit down and turned some knobs.. that's all. At the moment when it sounds nice I add other sounds.. that's all I am doing ... Everything is improvised.
