Filed mine ,followed your videos and I just got mine without an interview

  • @PhongNguyen-ov7jq

In an earlier video, you recommended that maybe wait until the I-751 is approved because it is a pre-requisite for being able to take the citizenship exam anyway. You indicated that an N-400 may help prompt and accelerate the review and hopefully the approval of the I-751 so that the N-400 interview can be scheduled; but it's not always the case, depending on the circumstances surrounding your I-751. So why are you recommending differently now? What if the N-400 gets held up anyway because the I-751 is still pending review and approval and the USCIS officer who handles your N-400 cannot take over the control and review and approval of the I-751 and has to wait for whomever else responsible to complete the I-751 process first? To ask my question another way, will filing the N-400 now while waiting for the I-751 to be processed guarantee that the I-751 will get processed promptly before the N-400 interview is conducted? Surely you cannot pass the N-400 tests and get your citizenship while the I-751 is still pending.

I’m commenting on TH-cam now …. I’m an adult daughter of a US citizen. My 5 years are over and now this is the 6th year and my dad is not applying for my citizenship. I was supposed to apply in January of this year (2023) but my father keeps making excuses everytime saying next month I will apply and has dragged it to October. Now my dad is saying that I don’t want to apply for your citizenship and I will apply whenever I want to apply not when you want.
Also from the time I have come to USA, from the past 5 years my father has been mistreating me and physically abusing me. He shouts and screams 24 hours and gives abusive, bad words and does not let me to talk to anyone or meet people. He doesn’t want me to work and get a job. He keeps a tab on each and everything I do and doesn’t allow me to talk to anyone or have friends. He does not let me live a normal life like other people live, I’m not even allowed to use social media, Facebook, Instagram, etc. My father doesn’t want to apply my citizenship for me and does not want me to work and do a job and is always oppressing me and giving bad words. Can you please advise me what I can do about this situation, if I report it to the police will the police help me?
