It’s always interesting to me, that Robin’s older kids are still living at home. When Cody was so adamant that Janelle kick out the boys because they were over 18.
In that religion that's what they do. The men run most of the young men off so they don't have competition for the young ladies. It's really Sick!

My "parents" were friends with a woman who ran a foster home. There was a foster boy my age that my father wanted to come live with my father. We were both 15 years old. I was traded for the foster child....I went into the foster home and the boy went to live with my parents. Yes, this really happened. My entire life my father let me know that I was an accident and I would never be good enough.
After one year in the foster home my mother came for me.

This is super strange to me. What is wrong with both of them? They are children. Let them be social and enjoy themselves. That is so rude.
The "king and queen" of polygamy can't allow their children to play with "peasants." And if the adult children make friends, that may lead them to the unthinkable, a life away from Robyn. She can't allow that, everyone's lives must revolve around Robyn at all times.
I am all for allowing kids to be kids, especially in places where they can be kids. My only concern is Ariella not knowing people's personal spaces or boundaries when it comes to certain individuals (and we have seen proof of the actions of the youngest Brown child). As we have seen on seasons 16 & 17, she doesn't know how to safely "play" with or be around other kids without being all up in their space (the story she told from the 1st day of school, when Kody asked if she was being a pest). I am glad Ari loves babies, but not every adult is nice about strangers touching all on their babies (even more after the pandemic hit). You can admire from a safe and respectful distance. Kody & Robyn don't teach their kids about boundaries and personal space. I don't agree with Kody "allegedly" yelling at Ari, even after the family said Ari was ok to admire their baby.
They have to keep their children isolated so they can continue brainwashing them into their cult. They don’t want any “bad” outside influences.
@@karmelquties agreed! I thought the same thing about her approaching strangers so freely but I bet she does this for 2 reasons. One she doesn't get much attention at home so she seeks it out anywhere she can find it, two Robyn isolates those kids, doesn't let them be around their other siblings or have friends which could cause a lot of excitement when they're out of their house because there's lots of people to interact with. My mom was a preschool teacher/nanny, a lot of the kids she nannied for were overly friendly because they didn't get much one on one attention. I also had really weird neighbors who would only take their kids outside their home a few times a year, for special occasions, doctors appointments and once a month to every few months to spend the night with the grandparents, besides that these kids didn't leave home. The kids had never been to the grocery store or taken shopping, one parent would grocery shop or run errands, the other parent would stay home with the kids, they acted like kids weren't portable. As soon as the door would open, those kids would go flying out the door, running as fast as possible, almost like dogs do. If the parents weren’t right there they'd run out into the field, out into the road, they snuck out several times. Any of us neighbors, even if they had never met us, could go up to the kids and talk to them, they'd let neighbors pick them up, they'd go with us, they even walked into my home when me and my oldest son were carrying in groceries and left our door open, they went in and started playing with toys in my living room, another time one of them jumped into a neighbor's car out of nowhere, the neighbor had to call the dad to come get his child out of his car so he could leave. This was obviously due to their isolation, it caused them to be overly friendly, have a complete lack of stranger danger and a need for freedom. I know Robyn's kids aren't isolated to this degree but we know Robyn has constant control over her kids and does isolate to a degree.

But the worst part about my former neighbors is that TWICE now their children have been found and brought home by the police, not counting all the times they ran off or went into other people's homes at all hours. The first time, their oldest daughter, who was TWO years old (at the time) was found walking down the road from our complex (townhouse apartments) that we live in, at 3am, by herself! A cop just so happened to drive by and see her and she had gotten out through the front door and left it open so they found what townhouse she lived in by the open door. We live on the very edge of town, with woods surrounding two sides, had she gotten into those woods, who knows what could have happened to her and it was fall. They ended up getting evicted from their apartment this past fall so I didn't see them for a while. And then in Feb-March a mutual friend told me that their youngest daughter, who's also two now, was found at 2am walking down one of the main streets in town and someone called 911. I don't know how they found where she lived. The good news is they're FINALLY being prosecuted for neglect this time. But there's a debate, they were living with the husband's uncle, it was the uncle's home the child ran away from, the parents had left the kids with the uncle to go on a "camping date" outside of town, they claim the uncle agreed to babysit, but the uncle and his wife claim that they never agreed to watch the kids, told them no when they asked and they claim that they were in their bedroom asleep and didn't even know the kids had been left in the home. I remember several times where they'd ask someone to babysit, the person wouldn't agree to it but they'd sneak off and leave the person with the kids so the uncle's story may be true and they may have thought they could put them to bed and the uncle wouldn't even know they had to "babysit." Some people just shouldn't be parents.
I’m all for working things out but 6 months later, I still think “customer” is a an odd choice of words for one’s spouse, romantic partner or even a friend. It’s just odd.
Well, if you ponder on it, it fits. Robyn sold her affection for the security and support of her children. She was not able to provide all the ‘things’ they needed. She married Kody, but it could have easily been someone else…. That’s how I read it anyway😊

That man is so plainly an abuser it’s insane. I feel so sorry for those kids still under his thumb. Who knows what they’ve been subjected to. If that’s how this man behaves in public, I can’t even imagine what he’s like when the eyes of the world aren’t on him.

Christine held a graduation party for Savanah at her home in Utah, all of their (Janelle and Christine’s) children were invited, (I don’t know if Meri’s child was invited) Anyhow, Janelle and Savanah stayed for a few days. They both shared photos online, no pictures of Kody at Christine and David’s house.
This past weekend they were together again in Las Vegas, along with Janelle’s daughter Maddie.
They did, they took her out for dinner and had a cake in Flagstaff. No reason to invite him to her party at Christine’s house in Utah, Janelle and Savanah stayed for a few days, they went driving in the mountains with David in his ORV. Both women posted multiple pictures, Christine posted a little video too.
Savannah is Janelle's daughter . You bet Christine round invited them to her house just so they couldn't say she didn't and let Kody see how well she is doing without him and Sobbin Robyn . Lol. Kody would be spitting bullets. After mistreating Christine all those years her she is happy and doing better without him

15:55 My Mom grew up in a family of seven. My Grandmother (their Mother) in my opinion had many narcissistic tendencies. Growing up I noticed my Mother and her siblings always trying to fight for her attention, they were obviously adults at this time. She often would pit them against each other to get what she wanted. There was a constant one-up-men-ship between them as they sought validation or love from their own Mother. When she passed away the entire family split. To this day my Mom has a very hard time expressing love. She always shows her love with food or gifts. It’s incredibly sad to see. I force hugs and tell her I love her all the time; her child, trying to heal her inner-child.
That’s so sad. I really feel for your mother and you. I also grew up this way, with the same type of mother. I’m lucky that at college I was cared for by professors and their spouses and saw what a loving family was like and vowed to change if I ever had children. Fortunately, I was able to do so with a lot of counseling and I now have 2 loving and happy and successful (in that they love what they do, not necessarily rich) adult children. My siblings did not get counseling and they just repeated what we grew up with. I feel so sad for my nephews growing up like that and for you too.

I grew up with the same kind of mother that pitted one child against another. I also was a favorite target of hers with the constant belittling in front of people, be it relativor strangers. It has affected me my whole life. I love deeply but have a hard time showing or accepting affection,no matter how much I want it. I'm 75 and it really hurts. Thank God my late husband knew how much I loved him for over 50 years and my children and grandchildren know. I've always been one to show more than say how much I love them, and they know I'm there for them.

Is anyone surprised? I'm not. The Kodster and Sobyn have a long history of not working and playing well with others. So now that it is just the 2 of them, its fitting that they are turning on each other. As far as the 2 oldest of Sobyn's kids go, i have long believed they never wanted the adoption and being cut off from their bio dad. That was bound to rear its ugly head eventually. You will never win cutting a bio parent out, unless there is real ab@$e. The kids will always grow to resent the parent that alienated the other parent. I'm just waiting til Dayton and Aurora ditch Sobyn and The Kodster and run back to their bio dad.

I don’t say this to be an awful human being. But when I hear Robyn say “I’m going to treat this person as my best customer” I feel like that is something a “lady of the night” (keeping it polite on here), would say to their customers or think that about their customers especially any regulars they have.

That's my point. What kind of crappy mom do you have to be to allow that? My mother and dad split up, and my mom never went on a date or engaged any man, ever. When I divorced, I followed that same track. Both of us said the same thing, we could never have any man thinking he had the right to dictate to my children. I am extremely happy 25 years divorced.
I must admit I really feel sorry for the kids. How will they view the world after being subjected to this stuff? They should be free to be who they are and guided … not forced.

Robin is now realizing, when she came into the family, she came in as the "side chick"! She fulfilled his needs sexually and fulfilled the attention he craved. Now that the "wives" are gone, he is bored with her, he hates the other wives and kids left, and the fun is over!!! Robin was living high on the horse. Didn't have to contribute financially, she was out above the other wives, her kids got the most attention. Now the honeymoon is over. It's only you babe. She should've bonded and worked with her sister wives more, but instead she nestled in what she thought was the good life.

As much as I’d like to blame it all on Robyn……she’s not the only one at fault here. I think Kody and Robyn fractured the family together! Kody chooses to treat his children poorly. Kody chose to treat his wives like trash for years. Robyn is simply a manipulative and devious person who saw a great opportunity to make bank. He’s just as culpable (maybe even more) than Robyn.

I thought it was strange and a bit sad for the daughter. Kody did attend the graduation but Robyn was not there for that either. It appears Robyn got what she wanted. Kody without the other three wives. She can cry and complain all she wants but this was her goal whether she likes it or not.

If you want to learn about them, look up “Growing up in Scientology” with Aaron Smith-Levin. He did grow up in it and reports on all they do. He’s part of an organization with Leah Remini on helping ppl who leave acclimate to society, employment, etc. He covers the investigations against Scientology/Scientologists. (Ex: Danny Masterson trial, investigations into their human trafficking, etc.)

Breanna, Aurora and Dayton should be either gone from the family home by now or in the process of going just like Kody's other kids did but Robyn has outdated beliefs based on patriarchal religious expectations that only grant power to women like her by having power over their daughters (and sons) She is clinging on and causing them to be too dependent on her and Kody for her own needs. Cody, Wyoming is like home to me. As kids my sister and I enjoyed the museums there. My kids did too when they visited and were quite young. Sad that theirs seemed to be so bored.

I don't know if Ariella has matured socially since we've seen her last in the show. But she was over-the-top annoying and inappropriate, even for a kid.
It was said by - I guess - Paedon (?) that earlier Brianna was Kody's favorite and could do nothing wrong. Now, it seems, Ariela has inherited this role.
Remember the scene at Christine's house where Ariela more or less shouted that Christine and Kody should go on dates? I remember Kody being proud of her, because she speaks her mind or something like that.

Especially since Kody told Janelle when her boys turned 18, they should be out of her house. Meri’s child and Christine’s children were all out at 18, I think Kody had a part in that. I think Ysabel may be back with Christine in Utah, when she’s not attending College or University.
Its not that unusual. A lot of people can't afford to move out at that age these days. And where they live is especially expensive.
