A visit to see Top Doorslammer legend John Zappia

I dropped into check out some Christmas trees.
A LOT of Gold and Silver Christmas trees!
The guy who earned them is an Australian and West Australian drag racing icon.
11 times national champion John Zappia.
I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to visit the “Rat Cave” where his race operation is based.
Man this guy still lives and breathes Doorslammers!

Michael Jordan is the John Zappia of basketball. Always obliging and genuine to fans, as he was with my 10 yr old son who raves about him. Trophy room says it all !
