How about doing a shootout every month? I know it will ruin schedules but a $50,$100,200,300 shootout video that's just 15 mins would just be the thing
that's too much work for Z... he has to put out a video every 2 days and he gets so much products every month for review. So think of his channel like an assembly line of sausage. He gets the raw pig parts on the front then forces the meat through graters and has to churn out sausage at the end.

Oh wow, the timing couldn’t be better. I just binged through your Kinera reviews - Freya, Norn and Nan-na. I went to their website and saw Baldr 2.0. :)
Higher caliber of design. You can’t compare a cheap op amp on a phone and whatever DAC implementation is used.....which is usually an afterthought...... to a dedicated desk top DAC and amp. I always listen to my iems out of my desktop gear. My more expensive iems ARE FOR HOME USE ONLY. The only iems that get plugged into my phone are cheap sets when I go to the gym. Expand your horizons.
@@Assimilator702 No you misunderstood i totally get how a phone amp can't compare to a desktop amp my question is why would you use IEMs on a desktop at all instead of proper sized Headphones especially given how expensive good IEMs are you can buy a coupl of fully sized excellent cans for the price of one pair of good Iems
@@matzan481 Well for example I use iems 98% of the year. I've come to prefer iems. It started during the summer months where I didn't want to sweat like a pig on my expensive headphones and it just evolved to where I prefer iems over full size headphones for various reasons other than sweating and getting my headphones dirty. One reason is iems have a significant advantage in the price to performance ratio. Oddly enough I still purchase at least one pair of expensive headphones per year. Sometimes two even though I'll barely get any use out of them.
Overall iem's have better sound quality than full-sized headphones in the same price range, and they shine to their fullest on great audio output and dongles or daps or any on the go device can't beat the quality of a well-implemented desktop setup. For mobile I use cheap earphones, I find no fun listening to music on higher-end iem's connected to mobile devices.

Have the 112, it's a pretty good IEM bottlenecked by poor upper treble extension, counterintuitive to what EST are suppose to do: render treble better than standard BAs.

I got the baldr a few months ago and it sounds very very good on ifi idsd signature and almost perfect on the shanling M6 pro (AKM 4497 x2 variant). None of the devices have the treble issues with the baldr and the bass is perfect (better than both Arya and Focal Clear I have). Funny thing is My nanna (2020) had tiny bass and sharper/brighter treble issues on every single source I have except the IFI. But zeos didn't face the problems. It seems these iems sound a lot different depending on the dac-amp chain? What's your opinion Zeos? Is the baldr one of those audio products that are super source sensitive? or there's QC issues/Tuning variance with the units?
I'd be willing to bet they could be "calmed down" by simply increasing their impedance. Personally I found the armatures in the fh3 to be fatiguing for the same reason, I use an impedance adapter and they 'calm down'.
You can use different bore tips to tame treble peaks. I have the FH3 and have no issues at all with the treble being fatiguing even with a wide bore tip.
@@Zicrixdoesart Interesting. I have a Magni 3+ and an Asgard 3 and haven't noticed that. Any particular artists you noticed it with so I can attempt to replicate? Granted I have over a dozen iems I rotate through so maybe I don't have enough time with them in one sitting. I usually listen to 3 or 4 tracks, maybe one entire album and either stop listening or switch to another set.
Maybe you should make the next iem for them. Pump the bass. Place 2 drivers doing the mids. One dd and 1 ba so we can have 2 voices for the vocals iist the 500 k and 300 k like Sony does. And call it zeus
Most youtubers- only say important things at the end of the video and tell people to watch to the end Zeos- embraces the low watchtime and tells you important things at the beginning
The shuoer ej07m has the same driver count and types as the Baldr (1 10mm dynamic, 2BAs from Sonion, 4 Sonion electrostats), costs 599. Quite a few reviewers rate them very highly, and I do too, it is my totl (when modded with Tanchjim Tanya/Oxygen dampers). It would be a great candidate for a comparison with the Baldr, and I wouldn't be surprised if it came on top. Est 112 is a greay IEM but is not on the same league.

P.S. The Illumination are on my UTWS3's and never coming off.. I will not be selling them.

Softears is Moondrop's high end line up so either Cerberus or RS10 would be the real flagships for them

You’ve got $950 to spend and a BTR5 to run them, do you take the Illumination or the Nanna?
I'd say Nanna just because of the moondrop's impedance, but technically the btr5 can run 300Ω and be... fine.
Btr5 doesn’t work for nanna. I pretty much only use nanna on my desktop amp now. Portable things don’t cut it.

The Baldr has a near-identical setup to the Thieaudio Monarch.
