This video proves a little more how well deserved your username is. You're not only just another slow motion guy, you're an artist with a genuine vision who gives a soul to his content. Keep up the good work ! Best regards from France
Big Fish, Saving Private Ryan, Apollo 13, Avatar, Zombieland, Pain and Gain, Sherlock Holmes, Inception, Kill Bill, Snatch, The Life Aquatic, Face Off.... Do you realize how many movies have beautiful cinematography. Where do you think people on TH-cam get their inspiration form dude?
***** I don't think you grasp the entirety of this video's cinematography. The gentle color treatment, the subtle DOF that softens the image, the almost constant camera traveling, the shot driven narrative (instead of action driven). It looks a lot more like a music video than a movie. From your list, only Inception has moments that roughly resemble this video. The others, not by far. And I'm not saying they are not beautiful, I'm just saying this video is different and I would like to see an entire movie told in this way.
JP de la Torre I grasp it very well and I know what you mean but you aren't being fair to films whatsoever. They have much more of an intricate story to tell than just how the camera tells the story. I love this dudes videos but the comparison you are making here is just not true. And no you are wrong. Many of the films I have listed do this and I would argue that they do much more that you are not noticing. Give credit where it is due man. This guy has beautiful cinematography and so do the many of the films that we watch.
I don't quite know what it is with your videos - probably a culmination of the stupendous cinematography, slow motion and grace and to an extent the music - but they often bring a genuine tear to my eye... Keep doing what you're doing, you're awesome!
Hey everyone, it's Ben! Just wanted to drop in and give some more props to Darren and Josh! I'm really happy with how this turned out and just can't get over that shot at 2:14. Thanks Darren for making this happen and if any of you want to see more offstring yo-yo, my channel is dedicated to that. Cheers!
That is... I'm sitting in front of my computer, my mouth is wide open... I'm completely flashed! You really got me with your amazing slomo-vids! Keep that goin, this is AWESOME!
Furious Gamer no question, Ben is an awesome yoyo-gamer and I really love him and his videos! But in that slomo you see the tricks slower and so you "understand" them a little better! And the mood of this video is just not to beat!
I definitely feel ya. 4 months between releases kinda feels like a dead channel. I'll have some announcements rolling out soon and I'll be talking about why my channel has been on the down low for so long. Hopefully that will all change soon!
The Cinematography here is absolutely gorgeous and so respectable. The Golden Hour truly lives up to it's time. It's videos like these that inspire me to create, i just wish i had the materials to do so.
Just taken a few minutes to pick my jaw up off the floor. To me Ben Conde's ability to use the laws of physics with such precision and timing makes him appear superhuman! Also brilliantly shot/edited.
Dude, when I was young, the coolest thing you could have ever done was to maintain the yoyo rolling at the end of the string, and that was it. Nowadays everyone who did that, feels ashamed to look at this kind of video (at least I feel that way). Congrats and good luck to Ben, and to you too.
You should never feel ashamed for getting a yo-yo to spin. Everyone starts somewhere. There are so many resources out there online and in person now, that it is just a matter of practicing if you enjoy it. Not everyone will be a world champ, but that's ok too.
In film school, they talk about seeing the world with frame edges and always always notice what the light is doing. Natural light can be amazing but elusive. Your composition and lighting skills are quite impressive, and now I know what Beyond Slow Motion refers to: you are a complete package film maker. I know you've been doing this for a while now and it's good to see you constantly improving and progressing in your field. Love the collabs too, I see some nice slomo, I check the credits and see your name a lot. good job!
I think you've improved massively in the last year! you was always good, but your definitely getting a lot better, I'm gunna buy a flight soon and try get into 4A :D
+Sam Actually we had 7 days of production. These were the best of the urban shots. We've got another whole segment of footage with more nature at the focus. There will more of this in a later edit. :)
Thanks! Both Josh Hill (my DP for this project) and myself put a lot of care into our productions. Always stoked when people appreciate our efforts. 😁🤙🏻
It's been 4 years since I've had a yoyo and I loved offstring and watching these vids brings back alot of nostalgia from back when I loved offstring damn I need to buy another yoyofactory flight but Ben Conde Is a fucking legend
That was sick! This style has to be put into a action movie. I can totally see Ben going all "Bruce Lee" on a room full of people using only his yo-yo, bouncing it off people's heads and shit then blades shoot out the sides and slice up some fools 😎 Damn bro, don't point that thing at me! Peace!
Brooo soon i will be in Arkansas for Southern Gothicon. we have to make some Colabo i will be throwing knives there ,)) some slow mo could be really good :P
hey, maybe 4 ur next vid, you could have your friends doing some baking or them just doing simple runs, or jogs(with a nice sunset maybe) it would be awesome! keep doin' that slow mo!
You guys should make a slow motion edit of Martial Arts Tricking. A.K.A "Tricking". It would be really cool because tricking is quite underrated and I myself got inspired by my brother to start to trick. And what I can tell you is tricking is amazing. Please see what you can do!
Some amazing trickers that keep me going are Anis Cheurfa, Michael, Guthrie Bailey Payne, Jacob Pinto and many more. What's great about tricking is in the community every different person has there own unique style that differs from everyone.
BeyondSlowMotion I thought I've seen you somewhere before like on TH-cam or something , then I found you today on some random instagram picture I saw with you in it
This video proves a little more how well deserved your username is. You're not only just another slow motion guy, you're an artist with a genuine vision who gives a soul to his content. Keep up the good work ! Best regards from France
I would so love to see this kind of cinematography in movies. It's astonishing.
Watch more movies.
La Platti Can you really not think of a movie that uses either slow mo or shots of the sky. Seriously?
Big Fish, Saving Private Ryan, Apollo 13, Avatar, Zombieland, Pain and Gain, Sherlock Holmes, Inception, Kill Bill, Snatch, The Life Aquatic, Face Off.... Do you realize how many movies have beautiful cinematography. Where do you think people on TH-cam get their inspiration form dude?

Furious Gamer no question, Ben is an awesome yoyo-gamer and I really love him and his videos!

And the mood of this video is just not to beat!

I definitely feel ya. 4 months between releases kinda feels like a dead channel. I'll have some announcements rolling out soon and I'll be talking about why my channel has been on the down low for so long. Hopefully that will all change soon!
YoYo Skills and Cinematography on point!
Well I've never seen that before. Mind is a little blown actually. Very well filmed and an amazing performance!
Beautiful work and artistry from the camera person to the performer...I love the look on Ben's face as if what he is doing is no big deal...thanks
Absolutely amazing work guys!!!
The Cinematography here is absolutely gorgeous and so respectable. The Golden Hour truly lives up to it's time. It's videos like these that inspire me to create, i just wish i had the materials to do so.

Good, this cinematography and Yo-yo skill together are amazing.
I love your video. I can see how much work was put into it. It is amazing and beautiful ! Thanks for collaborating with Ben.
Dude, when I was young, the coolest thing you could have ever done was to maintain the yoyo rolling at the end of the string, and that was it. Nowadays everyone who did that, feels ashamed to look at this kind of video (at least I feel that way). Congrats and good luck to Ben, and to you too.
Thanks for the kind words man. :)

Some amazing trickers that keep me going are Anis Cheurfa, Michael, Guthrie Bailey Payne, Jacob Pinto and many more. What's great about tricking is in the community every different person has there own unique style that differs from everyone.
