I experienced a similar situation. After being laid off from SLB in 2020, I returned in 2021 as a senior wireline field engineer. While I initially believed SLB was my only option, life had other plans! Now in the US, I plan to return to SLB after resigning in 2023. There's just something about this company that keeps pulling me back! 😄
After watching your career journey at SLB, I realize that this kind of lifestyle is what I'm looking for. For 2 weeks work 1 week off work cycle are just nice, in the meantime can encounter different work challenges everyday. Indeed it is true that working 9-5 with same routine everyday are little to none challenges as that what I'm experience now and as an Engineer, this work pattern killing my passion. Nowadays, it hard to find a company that not putting you in a box, as they really afraid of changes or trying new things. The rarity of SLB is that they give you opportunity to growth, identify your potential and take different challenges of work task within company which is really uncommon culture practice at most of the company. Thanks for the experience sharing as now i'm more confident with my career changing decision.
I just landed a job as trainee in slb, im very excited to view all your videos of every message u delivered for the past three months during my recruitment process❤🙏🏽 thank you so much - asep from indonesia
Thanks so much for your videos Massiel, i found you as I've been trying to explain to my son what i did as a wireline engineer but you summed it up so much better! You really are an inpiraton for our industry and for diversity and inclusion. I joined HAL in 98, went to logging school with Rob P who you may know from Thrubit 😊. Im with an operator in Houston and connected with you on Linked in, feel free to reach out.
Hi Maise 👋... I just wanted to ask you if I should contact schlumberger HR since I applied for an early career job ( field engineer) and never heard back from them. I am a fresh graduate . Thank you in advance for your help

It’s my first year at SLB and in business life, too. You inspire me as a successful and strong woman who works in the same company💙
