I remember a year ago or so when I started listening, and hearing all the stories that I started getting more alert again after getting to comfortable. Started keeping fire arm on night stand , and wouldn’t you know it in the middle of the night at around 4 am Heard- door fiddled with , woke turned on lights , looked out windows since we have no peep hole. Then went back to bed after keeping lights on for a while. About 10 minutes later I heard it again, saw guy picking lock so banged on window. He walked away, got my firearm and shortly after noticed he was picking door next door where a young 19yo girl lives by herself. I opened the door gently and started slicing the pie with handgun making sure to conceal it behind door in case it was someone drunk or confused as we had a lot of new people move in recently. Also making sure I am not breaking law with vigilantism I kept it at the ready but concealed behind door. When I peak out and say wtf are you doing and notice him looking back and also seeing a full-size handgun in his hands which made me immediately hold him at gun point. He kept telling me to chill, chill , also repeating it in Spanish my wife said. While she was on the phone with cops I had to make a decision, either I hold him at gun point while my wife walks around confused with cops not knowing he’s armed and as cops come the situation might escalade and concerned she will approach door while he decides to maybe shoot and run. So I decided to slam the door shut and secure it telling my wife to get away from windows. Well that was it, we have weekly shootings and car theft in my area however recently did hear a home invader got shot to death so I wonder if it was the same guy.
This first story the person in it literally sounds like me I too am an artist I do a whole bunch of different mediums I don't just paint I draw a sketch I do laundry I crochet I do epoxy resin I try to make jewelry so yeah I have a bunch of different mediums that I like to work with as an artist and I also have ADHD and I used to blame my misplacing of things and not being able to pay attention to things to just my ADHD but I think it's because when you have a creative mind or a more open imagination as an adult you tend to focus on that more than anything else
Also have ADHD, can confirm, lol. It took me years, but I finally became borderline obsessive with 'a place for everything and everything in its place'. I haven't lost a set of keys, my sunglasses, or left my purse somewhere random for a few years now. And I've found when my living space is (mostly) neat and clean, it's much easier for me to focus. But yeah, always being lost in thought feels very much like an ADHD kind of thing,

RE story #3: being pressured into romantic/s3xual relationships by a good same-sex friend is not unusual. It's terrible because you really want to keep the friendship part alive - the fun, the inside jokes, and other things you have in common. But if, like the person in this story, you just don't want that kind of intimacy your wishes will most likely never be honored. The friendship will need to be ended without compromise, and it is very very difficult (speaking from experience), and you may need to be careful about the actions or intentions of "mutual friends." What up, poster of that story, the driver was driving the bus while we were sat around mid point and since I didn't make a scene the bus driver not noticing me being uncomfortable is not something I blame him for.
"With sound effects and stuff" can be cool, but can also be *really* jarring if you're listening with the intent of relaxing or sleeping. I had to stop listening to one of these channels because the narrator liked to throw in random (story appropriate) sounds and they startled the bejeezus out of me when I was dozing off lol. Just throwing this out there in case you don't get as many people listening as you do here, and you wonder why. 🤷🏻♀️
