People in the forest are no better. They still hunt and sell wild meat when its illegal. Animals are going to go extinct in the land and water and then Cambodia will have to rely on other countries for everything but rice and they can charge whatever price when people become desperate for food. The goal should be to become self-sufficient.
They are living here for many generation from the past hundred years . They are not immigrant , they can’t even speak Vietnamese among themselves…. Theirs ancestors has migrant to Cambodia since the French colonisation Indochina .
