Thanks Desi. Starting and stopping the looper at precisely the right time was the problem I was having. The problem is amplified if you are also playing with a drum track. This video will help tremendously. 👍
Playing with a drum track is always going to introduce problems no matter how well you time your loop. There will always be a spit second difference. This difference will become more pronounced with each replay of the loop, so the loop will always get out of time eventually.
Yes. That is exactly what I find happens. I got the idea from this guy. He, somehow, does it well. Could be fake I suppose. th-cam.com/video/ba83n0ssvv0/w-d-xo.html
@@russgannon6455 Since that device is a looper and also has the backing track built-in, it probably syncs the two. Some loopers have this function where you can record to a click or beat and the looper will cut your loop to the nearest beat no matter if you mistime it.

Another excellent presentation, Desi. Thanks for doing the videos. They must take a lot of preparation. Impressive guitar skills: I think you have mastered the instrument in both the musical and technical senses.
Desi, great info and a fine intro to the art of looping. I’d like to see you drill down even further, perhaps covering all the subtleties that are characteristics of all looper pedals, from single stomp on up. Thanks again for all you do.
Hey Desi, Do any of your courses teach using the looper to fill out the songs? Some suggestions of songs for beginners who Rock(!) to practice looping would be helpful as well. Doug Snyder
Can someone explain to me how Desi has only 52K subscribers despite being clearly in the top 10 of YT guitar teachers? It's ludicrous that he doesn't have hundreds of thousands.

Is there a way to resurrect June Carter with a looper?
New looper user here. Very helpful start and stop tips. Thank you.

You just got me looping. Thanks so much. Best looping intro on here.
Awesome! Thanks.
This is great. I was wondering how to do that. I gotta get a looper pedal. Backing tracks are great, this looks SOOOO much better....

Your internal tick tock is.. really good
I spent years playing along with complete songs. It really helped me develop my rhythm and timing.
Thanks for a great video Desi!!!! Yet another reason to buy a Kemper!!!! Your instruction is succinct and very articulate. Have an amazing weekend...
Hi Well done. Very informative.
Hey Desi,
Do any of your courses teach using the looper to fill out the songs? Some suggestions of songs for beginners who Rock(!) to practice looping would be helpful as well.

No, I don't have any courses that teach looping specifically. Perhaps I could create one some day.
Another great video

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But thank you very much!
