At some point you said "the west is falling because of progressive liberalism, D E I and whatnot", but the west isn't falling because of progressive liberalism. They're failing because of liberalism on its own as a concept, regardless of it being "progressive" or not, the end of liberal democracy has always been inevitable as contradictions between liberalism and capitalism become more difficult to hide as the wealth accumulates on top with the average people falling into more and more poverty, if anything progressivism is what made USA one of the strongest countries globally, like when they abolished slavery and embraced free speech. The "progressive" aspect being the problem is just what Americans are told to believe by lying politicians, because it's a good culture war and keeps people away from actual problems, because the American brain can't worry about two things at once, you can just tell them some lies, and they'll forget about how the rich guy keeps making billions off their backs while they live in shit. USA and the West also made the biggest mistake of reaching for far more than they can hold globally, destabilizing many nations to their own detriment, causing them to abandon allies, to simplify all that to "progressive liberalism" is just very reductionist and very America-centric, the effect of progressivism vs traditionalism is very much internal, foreign policy is objectively bipartisan in the USA for a reason as it has always been.

Some might even argue that it doesn't matter. And they are still a looooooong way from Kyiv. This war isn't even started yet, and the Russian economy continues its descent. There is no way the Ukraine people will let themselves be enslaved by Putin again.

Willy, This is all you need to know about this war: “Being an enemy of America is dangerous, being a friend of America is fatal.” - Henry Kissinger (?) * "Betrayal is the public moral of Ukraine."- Zbigniew Brzezinsky, "The Great Chessboard", 1996. * >>>I guess it was the 12th or 13th time to Kiev, and I was supposed to announce that there was another billion-dollar loan guarantee. I got a commitment from Poroshenko and from Yatsenyuk that they would take action against a state prosecutor, and they didn’t. “So as they were walking out to the press conference, I said, nah, we aren’t going to give you the billion dollars. They said you have no authority, you are not the President. I said call him. I’m telling you, you are not getting the billion dollars. “You are not getting the billion; I am leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you are not getting the money. “Well, son of a bitch, he got fired.>If you put aside the immense human suffering and look at Ukraine’s war through the cold lens of international power politics, a clear picture emerges: the West is having a good war against Russia. All NATO has to do is send Kyiv munitions, equipment and money, which, as any general knows, is the c h e a p e s t way to wage war. (...) The lives are being given by the Ukrainians. They’re defending their nation but also, inadvertently, helping decide the Cold War. For 70 years, NATO deterred a Moscow attack westwards. The Russians eventually invaded, last February, what they assumed would be a conquerable target on their south-western border. The war that NATO long prepared for is finally being fought.
I think the biggest problem for the US and the West in general is improper immigration - Muslim and (for the US) South American immigrants are gradually altering the West’s mentality; it the US it is already more like a Spanish one rather than sn Anglo-Saxon protestant one. It is not bad (yet) but this is not the type of the mentality that made the US a superpower
The biggest problem with the US is it's hubris at wanting to be a supposed 'super power'. The founding fathers knew better than to get caught up in European political shenanigans.

"Russia and the United States are engaged." This is a sloppy sentence, made so by too much PoliSci. "The US Democrat Party and the Russian regime of Vladimir Putin" would have been a better analytical start point. Maybe Democrat Party would be better stated as 'Uniparty' or even (maybe trying too hard here) 'Uniparty/Deep State'. Using those term instead of the country names would get us more quickly to the idea that once a new leader takes charge of the mechanisms of state power in America, the whole Third World War, second Cold War dribble could come to a screeching halt. Pffft. Forget what the US Intelligence Community might say in some 'major report' about Ukraine's survival being somehow important to US national security. New boss, new report. Clear the head -- if there had been no Ukraine at all ever, if there were none now nor none in the future -- the difference to US national security would be zero. Consider this hypothetical question and tell me -- if, budabing, Russia were a US ally in place of Germany, France and Turkey -- how would US national security be affected positively or negatively?
Re your hypothetical question. The US would obviously be affected negatively because Germany, France and Turkey are democracies and part of NATO. Whereas Russia is a brutal dictatorship that invades countries like Chechnya, Georgia and Ukraine and is the antithesis of what America stands for.

Situation is looking increasingly dire for Russia. Ukraine continues to inflict massive losses on Russia for arguably minor advances, an remember this even less significant in a war of attrition. Some might even argue that it doesn't matter. And they are still a looooooong way from Kyiv. This war isn't even started yet, and the Russian economy continues its descent. There is no way the Ukraine people will let themselves be enslaved by Putin again.
je joke may not last, it looks like the Russians' patience is wearing thin, are getting tired of this game and are just about ready to raze nato installations directly

19:54 Well, who knows. Russian industry is fast growing and statted it before the war. Other international currency helps growth. It's not about whether you can or can't. The fact is that Russia is not responding. Until the same thing starts happening to American, Ukrainian, and European engineers (and officials), it will continue. Interesting how the comments on this channel shifted from optimistic but realistic supporters of Ukraine 2 years ago, to mostly people who are anti-West and want Russia to win.
Propaganda can only last so long before people start waking up and doing their own research. I also think the fact for the last three years when anybody dared to even question the western/Nato narrative they were either simply written off as a Putin agent or if the person was lucky enough to actually get a response to their question instead of being labeled a Putin agent the answer would always be the same it’s just Russia propaganda. Three full years of the same nonsense will have people rethinking their views and start doing their own research using unbiased sources! This is all you need to know about this war:

"Betrayal is the public moral of Ukraine."- Zbigniew Brzezinsky, "The Great Chessboard", 1996.

>>>I guess it was the 12th or 13th time to Kiev, and I was supposed to announce that there was another billion-dollar loan guarantee.
(...)
The lives are being given by the Ukrainians.

Putin has support of more than 80% of Russians. You count your "leaders" support as much as you want.
France Germany and Turkey are not allies but colonies of the US empire
