It is really helpful to have the exact coordinates of the anchoring points (relative or absolute) permanently visible (possibly in the same dialog box) and not only while placing each of the templates.
@@leesnyder6784 You should take into consideration that in many cases, we use the client's dwg xref layouts and use them as a transparent "base" layout with all the inner templates placed in relation to it. Some performance issues may arise using the relatively new direct approach. We have GA_layouts with 10+ inner templates.
@@tasgeorg4453 some of our localized templates have quite a lot of templates on them and I haven't seen any performance issues yet but if you do please let us know
Hi sir, I have one concern. I joined one of the companies as a trainee for Tekla Modeller, but they, without informing me, moved on to editing. Sir, my question is: Is there value in editing? If I get experience in editing, can I get a good-salary job in the coming days? Sorry, I know this is not the right place to ask.
Is there any video on how to set a layout for cast unit drawing. Create top view, side view and mould face view along with 2 details that are created on top view? Would highly appreciate if you could point towards any such available resources. Thank you
Buenas un saludo, Como puedo optener todas la funciones del "Add table" o "Añadir cuadro" en mi verswion de TEKLA 2020 solo tengo 3 opciones lo cual no me permite agregar lista de materiales ni otro atributo . How can I have all the functions of the "Add table"? in my version of TEKLA 2020 I only have 3 options which does not allow me to add BOM or other attribute or title block. Thanks
Hello! You first need to create a table in order for it to be available in your "Available tables" dialog box. Here is a link that shows you how to create a table from an existing dwg file: www.tekla.com/us/resources/steel-tips-tricks/dwg-to-tekla-template-with-tekla-structures-3 or here is a link with instructions and hyperlinks on how to create a table from scratch: teklastructures.support.tekla.com/2020/en/rep_creating_template
In the model folder you can open the attributes subfolder. In there you'll find a layout file (.lay) extension that has the name of the layout. If you delete that then the drawing will begin using the system layout again.

Great feedback! Thanks!

Thanks, Lee, It is a helpful tutorial video, but I am wondering how we are able to add "My Custom Title block" to the Available tables.

Thanks a lot
defined profile , using polybeam, the result, is not visible. ?
Could you send a sample model to your local help desk so this can be investigated?
I accidentally overwrote the default assembly layout and I want it back how do I do that?

What is the calloff function sir?
Calloff = A string to describe what is on the drawing. "Quantity - Name" typically is what we show.
@@TrimbleTeklaDave thankyou sir, your answer is very helpful

No that is a native file format to Tekla Structures
