Albert Falls is the area in where l grew up. in fact we used to go to PT's Lake long before the Albert Falls dam was built. International power boat races were held at PT's Lake. Then we heard of rumors of a great big dam was that going to bebuilt which was to swallow up PT's Lake. If I'm not mistaken Albert Falls dam was built in around 1960. Shortly after that we moved to Pietermaritzburg. Sorry you folk did not get go to the Falls themselves, (my childhood play ground). Thanks for bring back many fond memories.
