It's amazing how you see it when you get that by Cage they mean the limits that are imposed to them; as for Yu he had imposed a masculine behaviour and an heterosexual orientation (sorry that's the only one I really remember), everyone else has their limits imposed by their parents or other situations, and this song reflects their desire to get out of the cage and be themselves the ones who delimit their possibilities, they want to fly away and be free from their parents and so from the limits, because they can do more, they can be more, and they will prove it. The lyrics are kind of unfair: Seemly reflexive, but almost a the end of the last sentence shows the real context. But that conext fits with the series very good.
