i got the pump from ebay, but unfortunately there is a shortage of anything "about ground pool" related so the prices are sky high and difficult to find, Cannot even find a paper filter for less than $15. hold tight with your little pump, I sold mine for $179 on ebay lol it was worth 30 bucks last year, just use the little pump this year and hopefully prices and supply will be a lot better next year.
the liner is blue color but I use Clorox brand Shock once a week. I buy it at walmart. Also the 3" tablets once a week. Keeps the water clear and I have never had any water quality issues.
@@loobygoat Hi I just watch your video thanks fir sharing I have a 14x42 inch Intex pool and the pump that came with it doesn't do a great job so I purchased the pump I saw in your video thinking I could used it with my same hose that came with the pool but it's not working and I don't want to cut any whole in my pool what do I need to buy so I can used my new pump
I put 1 layer for weed(landscape) fabric and then a tarp. A lot of people say not to use sand. I believe it shifts once the pool is filled with water and causes the floor to be un even
You may want to add some intex plunge valves on the hoses. That way you can close the valves to change the filter easier.
yes you are right! the plunger vales make it a little easier
What adapters did you use for the 2 intake hoses and the return hose?
Do you know if the intex prism pools can be used with saltwater systems? Or only chlorine?
yes salt water is possible, i would search online, I'm thinking of upgrading to a sand filter pump this year
Where did you get the pump? Nice setup. I only have the pump it came with and I need more power.

How many meters is it
How do you keep your grass cut so nicely right next to the pool like that? :)
Its very difficult, Very carefully using hand sheers and sometimes just pulling the grass out by hand lol
Did you put sand down?

How do you get your cholorine tablets to work? i have 2 in my float and not showing much chlorine on my test strip
start off with shock to get the pool going and adjust your PH. then it just needs 1 chlorine tablet a week
