I kind of feel like it can actually be like that for her, maybe? In the wrap-up episode of Campaign 2 I remember she was questioning Marisha and Ashley about the details of Beau and Yasha's falling for one another almost like the characters had their own completely separate feelings and thoughts, she'd ask like "so that day did you realise that it was love what you were feeling for her?"... I remember being puzzled about it.

It's an act I presume. Recently in that one ad where he put a gopro on his forehead and filmed everything POV one could see what was on the prompter. Every single reaction is on there. Not one thing they say during these ads is not scripted. After hearing about the classism in the Age of Arcannum and how people 'on the ground' barely had access to magic, I think it would be interesting to have a campaign set in that time, where everyone are magic-less classes, like fighters, rogues and barbarians.
Or at least there's a struggling wizard who can't progress because they don't have access to books or schooling. I also wonder if there were more warlocks during that time as a way to get some "easy" power.
YES. My thoughts went there immediately. Maybe the most magical subclass you could get would be something like an Arcane Trickster. Just some old grandparent rogue who has spent their entire life stealing magic items and spellbooks when the wizards occasionally touch down on the face of Exandria, to learn even the smallest bit of magic.

Also, maybe there would be some reverse classism against any sorcerers born on the ground, like people might shun them out of jealousy. Or maybe even that the Magocracy would come and take children who show magical talent. Either way, lots of cool ideas that could be explored.

I was wondering how they juggle the parenting responsibilities with both of them having such an immersive job. Matt and Matisha can bring Omar with them.
I really appreciate Matt's comment about how we need to be very careful on how we change the narrative on the fly. Sometimes it can be amazing, but it could also ruin the other person's expectation and plans of their character arc. And they've been doing this for years, so they trust each other to make the right decisions that both people would agree with.
So funny how Matt tries to avoid innuendo (failing miserably usually) and like EVERYONE else (except.maybe Talisein) leans into it super hard! Started with Laura and Sam, then I think just everyone else realized how fun it was and how much it just poked at Matt, and especially Travis jumping in the bandwagon heavily with Chutney... sooo much fun, poor Matt!

@@Kole723Disagree. I think she was fine, her character wasn't very good though. Nothing about it was particularly interesting. I do wish she'd gone about the betrayal in a less obvious way, but after Travis offered to help her, I think any of the other players that had missed it would have twigged. As we found with Utkarsh, the surprise to the players goes a long way to selling a betrayal of the characters.

I think revealing her deception to the audience early just made us not like her the whole time. Her character also didn't really have any background other than bounty hunter. I think if they run into her again maybe she'll want to work with them, and it could be some sort of redemption. there's no argument about her personality, either you find her cute and charming, or annoying. @@Pro_Butcher_Amateur_Human
The way the fandom still sees him as a joke character and dislikes him to an annoying degree is weird as hell. I doubt they'd react like that if he was a younger, more attractive guy.

Hearing them talk about how the confession was just, a surprise that happened naturally? It actually reminds me of my own game I’m a player in. The druid of our group surprised everyone by asking out my character at a Gala hosted by my parents! And so far? Super cute slow burn, I love it, and I am just, AHHHH! Romance that happens naturally in games is just SO GOOD!

My favourite part of that is that ultimately she was correct. Keyleth jumped off a cliff, fell thousands of feet and died, smashed against the rocks below. And the only consequence was Keyleth having to think about some of her self-destructive tendencies.

It's absolutely incredible how Laura and Marisha were completely oblivious to their relationship because from day one I thought they were romantic and always felt Laudna reciprocated more than Imogen.
4 sided dive has become so fond to my heart. This is hands down their best episode to date! Just watching them, hang out and throw some answers out casually while SCREAMING about the game is top class friendship and energy.

this is hands down the best episode of 4 sided dive in its history. dani was an absolute joy and I hope she continues to become more involved with the show. also, I love that the conversations were allowed to flow into different topics instead of just answering one specific question and moving on. 10/10 no notes.
Out of curiosity, I decided to check on that "Your mom's on the moon." one. I thought that it might be possible if one of the astronauts that went to the moon was a mother. That didn't work though as all 12 (more than I would have guessed) people that have been to the moon were men.

I love the fact that SouthernGothic (my FAV ship name for Imodna) came about only because Imogen and Laudna saw each other getting close with others. After having spent so long having no one but each other, sharing a bed every night, facing the challenges of the world together, they saw each other getting close in their relationships with others and realized that their feelings were deeper than friendship! So natural and lovely, and I love the imagery of them snuggling up every night

After hearing about the classism in the Age of Arcannum and how people 'on the ground' barely had access to magic, I think it would be interesting to have a campaign set in that time, where everyone are magic-less classes, like fighters, rogues and barbarians.
Or at least there's a struggling wizard who can't progress because they don't have access to books or schooling. I also wonder if there were more warlocks during that time as a way to get some "easy" power.
YES. My thoughts went there immediately. Maybe the most magical subclass you could get would be something like an Arcane Trickster. Just some old grandparent rogue who has spent their entire life stealing magic items and spellbooks when the wizards occasionally touch down on the face of Exandria, to learn even the smallest bit of magic.
@@ColonelHazard Late to this party, but I LOVE this idea. Kinda reminiscent of how Draconia was too. I also definitely think there would be more Warlocks around, makes a lot of sense. Also, maybe there would be some reverse classism against any sorcerers born on the ground, like people might shun them out of jealousy. Or maybe even that the Magocracy would come and take children who show magical talent.
Either way, lots of cool ideas that could be explored.

I really appreciate Matt's comment about how we need to be very careful on how we change the narrative on the fly. Sometimes it can be amazing, but it could also ruin the other person's expectation and plans of their character arc. And they've been doing this for years, so they trust each other to make the right decisions that both people would agree with.

I do wish she'd gone about the betrayal in a less obvious way, but after Travis offered to help her, I think any of the other players that had missed it would have twigged.
As we found with Utkarsh, the surprise to the players goes a long way to selling a betrayal of the characters.

I think revealing her deception to the audience early just made us not like her the whole time. Her character also didn't really have any background other than bounty hunter. I think if they run into her again maybe she'll want to work with them, and it could be some sort of redemption. there's no argument about her personality, either you find her cute and charming, or annoying. @@Pro_Butcher_Amateur_Human

I love the fact that SouthernGothic (my FAV ship name for Imodna) came about only because Imogen and Laudna saw each other getting close with others. After having spent so long having no one but each other, sharing a bed every night, facing the challenges of the world together, they saw each other getting close in their relationships with others and realized that their feelings were deeper than friendship! So natural and lovely, and I love the imagery of them snuggling up every night

Every time Sam suggests or pushes a change on the show, he's so correct. Yes, they should answer questions/talk about the show during the game section, that's why I tuned in. Yes, I would love to hear insight into the campaign and current story instead of learning character's Subway order.
