As usual another great video. When I was a on the farm, we used pitchforks and shovels to load our manure spreader. Ours was a rear spreader and it was hard work. No pits to place manure in. Just piled it outside the barn. Things were different back in the 40's and 50's. If i were in your area I would bring you a coffee. But I am in Pa. so I will have to forgo that option. Just wondering why you never mix some of the solids in piles with the watery manure to spread at once. Seems to me like two birds with one stone lol. Bob in Pennsylvania
That’s a great question we actually do most of the time but getting to the solids pile is quite a job until you’ve cleaned up some of the liquids. Thanks for watching!!

We used to milk 40 head with a 6 stall parlor. People will never understand the amount of work and dedication it takes without doing it themselves. How come you don’t expand to 100 or so cows?
