Thanks Neha. Can you do a session on how to market your products for starters? I am sure your experience can pave us a way! I just shared my thought. Looking forward to this. Thanks again!
I can surely try Jaishree. I can maybe explain on how I started it and what worked and didn't work for me. I am not sure to what extent it might be useful, but will try make a video on this. Thanks for the suggestion.
Thank you for the informative tip! I use earring cards, bubble wrap and foam sheet for packing. Add a thank you card and instructions on how to store the jewelry. Also I've made a stamp (convenient as my business name also means stamp :) ) and use that to personalise packaging. I've been looking for eco-friendly options as well :) I came across a page in insta who do signature organic soaps and body creams. She suggested cardboard sheets, shredded paper and paper tape. She ships glass jars this way. Thinking of experimenting with it when my business develops :)
Thank you so much for letting us know how you do it. True that's a nice suggestion and I hope to convert to using only eco friendly packing material soon. I use to have my logos printed earlier. But I am all out of that for now. Thanks again! Wish you the best.
Hello Neha, your videos are very helpful. I do watch them regularly. I wanted to know how are you actually selling your product. Is it through Sell on Instagram ? or website? or privately do you have any contract with Courier Company? Please let me know
Thank you so much! Glad you liked this. I like making them , it's time consuming but worth it when customers find these potlis quite attractive. So it's a pleasant surprise along with the jewellery they receive and they can store their pieces in it.
Hi mam... thanks for sharing this video.... I use bubble sheet to wrap the necklace set nicely... And put it in a thick plastic Jewellery box and then again I wrap bubble sheet after that I ll keep inside the cardboard box... There will not be any gap and shaking... Then I ll ship it...
Informative video. Thanks a lot. I liked the potli bag idea. Also such compact sewing machine. Can you please share link for buying the sewing machine.

Absolutely Loved the video! Thanks for an elaborate explanation. Recently packed a set using scrap cloth to pack the carton ( remaining from my sister's stitching work) and it worked but sometimes I am not so sure. Had sent a set to Vadodara using a plastic box wrapped in bubble wrap and a cardboard carton like I saw in one of the videos online but got damaged. Can't thank you enough! Mr. Ramanujan had sent me a set using newspaper scrap packed quite loose that too reached safely here. What do you think of this method ? Would newspaper scraps or clothes work?
Thank you so much Kamana for letting me know how you do it. This method of double wrapping both the jewellery itself and outside it really helps it stay intact. I have very rarely had damages in all these years and if it's happened it's purely my fault. Sir tries to use eco friendly materials. But I am still a little worried about just a newspaper or paper shred packing. With smaller pieces it might work but with bigger sets I am not so sure.
I think it surely works Kamana ma’am.We used to follow this method of wrapping fragile toys n idols made of clay using shredded paper n waste clothes from a tailor shop when it needed to be transported .Especially d Dasara Dolls😃. I too am using this method while sending to different states though nor overseas!!☺️Thankyou for your suggestions 🤗
Neha really u are very devoted to ur work ma and truely u love to give a perfect product. Love the way u truely explained the detail.where did u get ur potli ribbon by the ur potli bag was lovely . Very happy to see this video, good job
Hello Mam, I am in no expert in packing terra-cotta. Only once I sent set of 5 diyas for a friend. I used a bubble wrap to pack each diya and placed it in a pink plastic bubble cover . Not too big just enough for diyas. It arrived safe. I think I spent $5. So I see envelopes for flat rate padded ones which are $8 via usps, weight up to 70 lbs. These are long enough that the haaaram you packed now would fit really well and there would be much more space. I am just assuming that if we bubble wrap the jewelry it very well it should be good enough and it’s a priority one and it may arrive in one to two days. I used to sell paparazzi jewelry so I have done multiple shippings to customers that’s why I came to know these rates. so it was just my assumption and thought that padded flat rate ones could be much cheaper. I am assuming boxes are much expensive than this but I don’t know. I am no expert. But I really appreciate how much thought and effort you put in preparing the bags. So nice of you.
I really do appreciate this Niveda. (Please call me Neha) Thank you so much for taking the time out to write this in detail. With terracotta jewellery though, it might be safer to use boxes rather than bubble mailers. Bubble mailers can be bent and it's rather flexible. Boxes keep their form intact and it's a bit on the costlier side (not if you reuse material like me though) but it also guarantees the safety of the product.
Thank you so much! I just bought them online. Nope it's not customized. But I would suggest if you have a brand get that printed on the cards or the sticker.
Thank you so much! You can check the description box of the video. The clay I use here in the US is Laguna EM104 or Em334 wards. Back in India, I would buy my clay only from clay-joy.business.site/
