I continue to be blown away by Rick Allen, the drummer. For those who aren't aware he lost his left arm in '84 in an auto accident. He rejoined the band in '86 after totally re-designing the drum kit to allow him to play with one arm, and he hasn't stopped since.
I agree 👍 I don't care what some say about this band but I LOVE them! ❤️ People who probably aren't familiar with their songs wouldn't know how cool they really are...very creative especially this song knowing this is a song about those who influenced them as a band 😃

.It brings tears to my eyes how this amazing group of musicians all came together , during the drummers time of need, and re designed this incredible album in order for him to stay with the band. This is not only a testimony of human kindness but more importantly an act of Love towards each other.. With so many bands back then changing or replacing band members, this band truly cared for each other as a team, and I as a musician myself find that to be touching and admirable.
The 80s was truly the decade of decadence with awesome upbeat music created by talented musicians who wrote great songs using vocal prowess & skilled guitar riffs/solos. The whole decade was like one big party. Then came the 90s, like a depressing hangover that no one wanted. The 90's was plagued by god-awful Grunge music where the mentality was all about apathy, angst, pessimism, & depression which was heavily reflected in their songs. These guys are STILL "kickin' it"! I love the little leg kickin' up dance that Joe does at about 0.35 & 1.39 in those tight pants & boots! You get just a real quick shot of him playing the drums (with make up on) on the TV screen at about 1.52. Just before that at 1.50 is Phil (w/make up on) then Joe on drums at about 1.52 (it's a real quick shot).
Steve Clark was a songwriting genius, nobody could replace him... I'd be honored if some fans of classic 80s rock anthems would take a listen to my acoustic piano & vocal performances of EYE OF THE TIGER by Survivor, SISTER CHRISTIAN by Night Ranger, and IS THIS LOVE by Whitesnake on my YT channel in tribute to the era of legendary power ballads. Live acoustic with no autotune. Thanks & keep on rocking.
Steve Clark, even though sadly he passed away in 1991, all these years later is still mesmerising to watch and listen to. He is still affecting his loyal fans' emotions to this day. Def Leppard was Joe Elliott's vision from when he was at school, what he has pulled off in creating his band, and keeping it together through some truly devastating events, is nothing short of a miracle. Possibly not what Joe would want, but he should be knighted for his services to music and entertainment.

I just had to be late. Oh well, what do you do?
something about a band paying tribute to the people they learned to rock from....just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling, much like a band thinking they're the greatest thing under the sun and nothing they do is not brand spanking new and totally original nauseates me. there are so many good things to say about this band, ill leave it to the others but seeing this video again after all these years and seeing a technical maestro like steve clark workin' hard actually brought a tear to my eye....r.i.p stephen
