A short video of clips I filmed of 'The Jacobite' steam train service whilst on Holiday in Scotland in June 2024
Filmed on dates between the 22nd & 26th June 2024, I actually travelled on 'The Jacobite' afternoon service on the 23rd June 2024. (The afternoon service had only resumed the week before after a long running dispute between West Coast Railways and the ORR about the use of MK1 Carriages without central locking)
Footage includes footage of both lineside and on-board footage of 'The Jacobite' crossing Glenfinnan Viaduct and Eilean Na Moine at Loch Eilt. (Locations made famous by the Harry Potter films as 'Harry Potter Viaduct' and 'Dumbledore's Grave' respectively)
Locomotives seen are 'Black Five's' 45212 and 45407
