Plus, the kid fought a good fight. Seemed like Senchai couldn't get to him. Full respect to both fighters. Even though Senchai is getting older, I did expect him to drop Malatesta. Well fought, kid.

You can tell that Saenchai respected Malatesta's skill. He didnt goof around like his other fights. Malatesta is very strong. Kid has been training since he was little.
Much respect to Saenchai at 40+ years age. He still has the speed, fight iq and technique. It was a very close fight. Saenchai probably narrowly outpointed Malatesta.
I hope Saenchai retires soon, he has nothing more to prove. He has already cemented his greatness and legacy.

ps: molto bravo anche il nostro ragazzo.. ha disputato un ottimo incontro senza timor reverenziale il che non era scontato visto chi si trovava di fronte.. naturalmente aveva il vantaggio di età e soprattutto di peso ma è rimasto sempre concentrato piazzando qualche buon colpo.. molto buono il suo timing nei teep/front kick dove ha preso il tempo e sbilanciato Saenchai in più di un occasione.. bravo bocia.. continua cosi..

his name is already etched in history, no matter what he does now his legacy is far too great for anything to ruin it. you don't go from being one of the goats of muay thai to a nobody cuz u got outpointed by a hungry youngster that's 2 weigh classes above you in your last fights. i do agree though that he should retire, there is literally nothing to prove anymore and no reason to be taking unnecessary damage.

Seanchai I'm sorry yes he got more hits but there weren't as powerful. Sanchai did a leg sweep and unfortunately you cant go for ground and pound like in real life so in real life definitely seanchai would have won but in term of damage it's still definitely seanchai they sweep could have resulted in a knock out if he hit his head hard enough. The kid was able to get in his head which is rare I'll give him that but in real life seanchai would have destroyed him after the sweep.

After the leg sweep he could either sit on his arms and pound his face in if it was real or just dislocate the joints by forcing the caught leg to move in ways it shouldn't but because of rules you can't. Either way it wouldn't matter seanchai has gone kick for kick b4 and just takes it like a monster. He showed mercy because the young one still has a full career ahead. It's simple respect. Don't mistake kindness for weakness in this situation basically is my point lol if u know how seanchai fights you would know this is him being nice.

Non si capisce il valore che può avere un match di questo tipo. Al di là dell’età di un atleta, che ha già passato il suo picco, Saenchai non è neanche l’ombra di quello che era 10 anni fa. Questo ragazzino se lo mangiava a colazione… “il match epocale” l’hanno visto solo i due commentatori… questo sia chiaro, senza mancar rispetto ai due fighters o allo sport stesso.

Seanchai si e' contenuto perché Malatesta e molto più giovane e non voleva sfigurarlo a casa sua ..match esibizione .. 42 anni e 300 incontri , ma sommando da bambino si è perso il conto , comunque Malatesta e molto tecnico e duro da morire ..grande campione ..ci vuole un coraggio assurdo a sfidare una Leggenda ...applausi 🎉 ! Hermanos. Por alguna razon no es facil ser juez. Saenchai se llevo el primer round por completo, el segundo recibio un codazo pero conecto 2 golpes claros. El tercero si fue del italiano pero sus ataques no variaron mucho. Por ende el empate. Si hubiera variado mas y hacer sweeps, habria ganado. Adrmas recuerden la diferencia en edad, Sarnchai tiene 43 años
