I actually use the heat gun on the spine and the gold spine sticker just lift’s straight up and off and then I use a flat head screwdriver to gently lift the staple ends up. ❤
I take these to craft fairs and have found buyers don’t want the title on the cover obscured. My buyers go for familiar titles. They usually are drawn to a favorite childhood story they remember. the Little Engine and Pokey Puppy sell out first thing. Thanks for the video.
I want to sell my JJ so bad but don’t know where to start. My husband said you not gonna sell them cause you like them too much. Lol It is hard but got to sell to get to keep making them and anxious to make one with these books.
❤ 48:42 enjoyed watching this video. Thank you for explaining the different options for the spine, as in Washi tape or sewing them and that you showed in video. Always wanted to use a golden book but was not sure how to keep pages in order to create 2 signatures. Thank you so much!!❤❤
Hi Jessica, good afternoon to you. This is going to be so cool. Thank you for sharing I love the button idea that is so cute love love love fantastic job Jessica!!!
Oh I’m so glad you are doing this. I’m making one out of the Taylor Swift Little Golden Book and I was having a hard time with the cover! Now I can just replay. 🎀
I can share with you that I have found a flat head screwdriver can fit under those staples and get them out if you wanted to keep the whole spine in tact.
Thank you for this tutorial.♥️♥️♥️
