    I fear being pegged as "that guy" but I'm genuinely interested in what you and the viewers think about some of these suggestions:
    1. Tire Pressures - On my NB I like to come off the track at 32-33 hot and don't feel they're greasy, anyone else? I race in the Rocky Mountain region and ALWAYS have to reset tire pressures between sessions. With track temps rising throughout the day how could you possibly set them at 25PSI in the morning (Cold, green track) and not adjust at 2pm when it's 30 degree's hotter?
    2. Camber - I take all I can get, typically over 3 degrees. Anyone else here?
    3. I also think if there was a 6th tip it would be to invest in some great brake fluid and bleed the brakes daily. Is that overthinking it or wasteful in your opinion?
    Great video...love this stuff.

    Love the videos. I am already doing 4 out of the 5. Just haven’t paid the high price for data. I do use my phone for lap time. I race in north east Ohio region SCCA and am Instructing for AutoInterests. I get lots of track time in both the left and right seat. I wish I could use the Toyo RR’s. In my region I have to run SM7.5. When on a budget it’s nice to be able to use a tire to the cords, in practice anyway

      Cool Im glad the videos are helping you out. Yeah those Hoosiers cycle out kinda fast, but you cant beat them for the grip.

    Do you start with the same pressures and get the same pressure changes with the Hoosiers as the Toros or do you find you start higher with the Hoosiers? Thank you for the video.🤟

      I start with a little more pressure in the Hoosiers, but still target 30-31 lbs. Check them while they are hot right after you get off the track.

    Hello A+ is there anything needed to get those alignment numbers or does stock adjustment capabilities work to reach those figures?

    • @aracing
      @aracing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You should be able to get -2.5 degrees of camber with stock components. If you cannot, your ride height is too tall or you have something bent.

    We run a 1990 Miata in the Champcar series, what would be a good street tire to run?

    • @aracing
      @aracing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ive got to tell you Zoom there are a lot of tires out there that will fit your needs. Myself, I like the Dunlop DIREZZA ZIII, I feel they have great grip on and off the track and do not easily flat spot. Hope this helps.
