Thank you for the lovely video. I think you can get rid of the noise by adding brightness (try +20%) and reducing contrast (try -40%) to the puzzle image.
I use Microsoft 365 and these settings are preset under the corrections menu in the format tab. It worked for me. I am sure it will work for you too :-)

Your video is very clear and helpful. I wanted to ask you how to get the jigsaw pattern, but at my first attempt I found it on the Internet, so I followed your instructions and I've already made three puzzles with different kind of pieces. What I did with the pattern was to increase their resolution in Photoshop, therefore they didn't come out with any noise. Thank you very much.

I am an educator and I was interested in using this information to create a jigsaw for my students to help them learn vocabulary. Obviously, it is not a photograph so would I use the same information to generate a jigsaw with just words and may be small pictures from a word document?

instead of fighting the 'noise', i just printed it twice on the same paper sheet: once the photo was in the front and once the puzzle pattern.

Thank you very much, I hope it will helps me to draw a net on photos, when I paint portraits. I draw a sketch on the canvas looking at the photo with a net on it, which I draw with pencil. It helps me to keep proportions this way. It would be wonderful, if I could look at the screen on photo with a net on it, instead of print photos and draw nets on them with pencil :) Maybe you will be so kind and explain how to draw a net 8 pieces by 8 pieces, I mean how to divide photo, which is usually a rectangle, in to 8 by 8 pieces. I did it with Tabel Insert in Word, than safe in another Paint program as .jpg but may be you know something better and easier and more accurat. I hope you are still activ on youtube :))) Thank you p.s. I will gladly paint a portrait for you, if you wish :)
