I've had the same trouble with TDR. It's very temperamental and not always a reliable test. Good in a pinch, but nothing beats a good set of testers. Great video!
Another great video, love your channel and content it's very useful, specially to me as I am new to industry. I have One request pls, if you guys could make a video about labeling the cable and how to use label printer would be fantastic. Many thanks

I would love to be working in a DC but there's little to no DC in my country (Malaysia) from my knowledge. Most networking job is for outside cabling and home networks. But still, I would like to be working in a DC.
@@aure_eti By default on Cisco switches, VLAN 1 is used for management, and is also the default VLAN for all the ports on a switch. An attacker could connect to an unused port and immediately have access to your management VLAN. If nothing is used on VLAN 1, they can't do anything, hence why it's suggested not to use it.
Missing your videos. Please upload more content :-)! It is really satisfying as a amateur homelab-admin to see, how experts do their job!

@@aure_eti Are you asking why it's not recommended or why they're using it?
@@telnetx why it's not recommended

Great video! Thanks guys!
Maybe you could do a video on security? Why not to use VLAN 1.
With Cisco devices anyway, it’s the default VLAN. As a general rule of thumb in security you never use default anything.
nice
