  • Boasting a prime position in the bustling city of Tokyo, Japan, the Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku presents an inviting ambiance that blends Japanese elegance with modern amenities near an array of important Tokyo landmarks including the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and the Shinjuku train station. Located just 3 minutes from the South Exit of JR Shinjuku Station and 1 minute from Shinjuku Station Toei Oedo Line, the Airport Limousine Bus from Narita Airport and Haneda Airport also stops right in front of the hotel!

      Hi Paul! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, each passenger in the airport limousine bus can have 2 luggages stored under the bus. So yes, there is enough space to accommodate all the luggages of the passengers.
      I hope I was able to answer your query. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! I hope you are enjoying your day! :)

    Thanks for the detailed video. I’ll be staying there soon. Is the underground entrance next to the hotel where you showed that lift? I am still thinking whether I should take the train or the bus from narita airport

    • @wheretonext1190
      @wheretonext1190  25 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hi Humberto! Thank you for watching my video and for giving such positive feedback! I really appreciate it! With regards to your query, the lift beside the hotel in the video is of Shinjuku station BUT it is of the Toei Oedo Line. If you are coming from Narita airport and want to use that station exit/lift beside the hotel, then it may not be as straightforward. Shinjuku is a very big station, with many lines and many exits. There is no direct train from Narita airport to Shinjuku station Toei Oedo Line.
      If you really want to use the train from Narita airport to Shinjuku, then the most direct way is through Narita Express. Hotel Sunroute Plaza is just a 5-min walk from JR Shinjuku station. There are also other train options but they all involve transfers, and of course, it also takes a while to navigate inside train stations.
      Personally, I think the limousine bus is the easiest way if you are staying in this hotel as it will stop directly in front of the hotel. But as I said, the train is also a good option if you are willing to walk a bit.
      I hope I was able to answer your query and help you in my own small way. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! Have fun in Tokyo! :)

    Hotel looks extremely expensive, that is the best way for to save a chunk of my budget is getting a hotel for under $$60.00US, very easy and extremely possible for those few who do there homework and absolutely book in advance. Absolutely Outstanding

      Thank you so much Drew! I totally agree with you! Proper planning and research can really give you lots of savings. Unfortunately, as you said, only a few people can do that. In fact, many travel on a whim, which often results to expensive hotels. 😊

    I am so happy to see your video. My daughter and I are traveling to Japan and staying at this hotel in March.

      Hi Delmy! Thank you for watching my video! I am happy to hear that you liked it. With regards to your query, yes, depending on the time and traffic conditions, estimated travel time from Narita airport to this hotel is a little over 2hrs. It is a comfortable ride though, and definitely much easier especially if you are staying in this hotel and you have luggages.
      I hope my other videos can help you plan your trip as well. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel. I will have a short video on the limousine bus as well as other useful videos. Thanks again! Have fun in Japan! 😊

      @@wheretonext1190 Thanks so much. This will be our first time in Japan and we are a bit nervous about the public transportation. Is the hotel close to some main attractions? any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!☺️

      Hi again! I definitely understand how you feel. The train system of Japan can be overwhelming especially for a first-time visitor. But once you get the hang of it, you will realize how easy it is to navigate between train stations. You may want to download the app "Japan Transit Planner" as this will show you the trains (or even bus) you can take, the schedules, platforms, and even cost of each option. You can also ask the staff at the train stations and they will always help you.
      The hotel is just a 3-min walk to the main JR Shinjuku station. You can use that line to go to tourist places like Shibuya or Akihabara. There is also a train station beside the hotel. You can also use that to go to maybe Ginza, among others.
      Shinjuku is a very big place. The hotel is near the South side. If you want to go to the central area where Kabukicho is located, you need to walk for like 20mins. You can also opt to take a taxi.
      I hope I was able to help you in my own small way. Tokyo is a great city and is fun to explore. It's ok to get lost too - that is always part of the adventure. 😊

      Hi Swaggy! Thank you for watching my video and for giving such positive feedback. I really appreciate it. With regards to your query, yes, reception staff of most hotels in major cities of Japan like Tokyo speak good English. I guess in the recent years, they are already trained to speak in English to cater to international tourists. Basic English is also spoken in bus and train stations, shops, restaurants, and other tourist areas. A Google Translate app can also assist you if needed.
      I hope I was able to answer your query. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! I hope you can visit Japan soon! 😊

      Hi Anna! Thank you for watching my video and for giving such positive feedback! I really appreciate it. With regards to your query, unfortunately, I have yet to do a video on taking a train from Narita to Shinjuku. What I am scheduled to feature in my future videos is taking the airport limousine bus to and from Shinjuku hotels. If your planned trip to Japan is still in June, let me see if I can still try and squeeze in a train video before June. Otherwise, you can go for the Narita Express which is a direct train from Narita airport to Shinjuku station. For other options, you can download the Japan Transit Planner app. The app will show you different options: the fastest, easiest or cheapest way to go from one station to another. It also shows bus routes you can take.
      I hope I was able to help you in my own small way. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! Enjoy your weekend! 😊

      Hi Greg! Thank you so much for watching my video and for appreciating my work! With regards to your query, yes you are correct. The famous 3D cat display is in Kabukicho, which is about a 15-min walk (850 meters) from Hotel Sunroute Plaza. You can use the Shinjuku station as a reference point. The hotel is a 3-min walk from the south side of the JR Shinjuku station, while the 3D cat display is a 1-min walk from the east side.
      I hope I was able to answer your query and help you in my own small way. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! Enjoy your trip to Japan! 😊

    • @wheretonext1190
      @wheretonext1190  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi again Greg! Regarding your question, it actually depends on your preference. If you want to be in the center of Shinjuku's colorful nightlife (and I really mean colorful), then I would suggest staying in Hotel Gracery. I would have a video on this hotel sometime in April which I guess is already too late for you. But yeah, if you want the crowd, shops, plus bars and restaurants all within your reach, then Gracery is for you. On the other hand, some may want the quieter side of Shinjuku and would prefer Sunroute. It is not really in the center of Shinjuku's nightlife, but the atmosphere is more laid-back which may be preferred by some. Incidentally, the airport limousine bus also stops at Kabukicho Tower, which may be convenient for you if you decide to stay at Gracery.
      In any case, I hope I was able to help you decide and not confuse you more. I am curious to know which hotel you would finally stay in. Hope you can update me! Cheers! 😊

      Hi Mupper! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your questions, yes, you can pay for your limousine bus ticket at the hotel reception. The last trip leaves the hotel at 3:15pm and arrives at Narita airport terminal 3 at 5:22pm, terminal 2 at 5:25pm and terminal 1 at 5:30pm.

    Hi, if we stay at this hotel and our return flight leaves Narita at 12:10 pm, what’s the best way to get to Narita? We have a 4 year old daughter and 1 elderly grandpa with us and 2 big luggages. 😅

    • @wheretonext1190
      @wheretonext1190  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Sandra! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, the first limousine bus leaving Hotel Sunroute Plaza is at 9:15am so I don't think you can use this if your flight is at 12:10pm. If you want an earlier limousine bus, your best bet is to go to the West Exit of Shinjuku station or to the main Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal which is about a 5min walk from the hotel. Limousine buses start leaving from those terminals at 5:30am. You can also take a taxi from the hotel to the bus terminal if it would be easier for you.
      Alternatively, you can also take the Narita Express Train which is a direct train from Shinjuku station to Narita airport. Personally though, if you have a child and an elderly with you, it might be easier if you use the bus as you don't have to navigate inside Shinjuku station anymore, which is a very busy station.
      You may want to refer to the following link for the limousine bus timetable.
      www.airport-bus-alliance.com/limousinebus/result-t.html?airport=%E6%88%90%E7%94%B0%E7%A9%BA%E6%B8%AF&area=%E6%96%B0%E5%AE%BF%E3%82%A8%E3%83%AA%E3%82%A2&lang=en&frto=2

      Thank you for your detailed answer. I subscribed! 😊 We’re looking at Shinjuku Prince Hotel as well. Do you think it’s better for getting to and from Narita airport if we stay at Prince though? Or do you have any good recommendations for other hotels for kids and family?

    • @wheretonext1190
      @wheretonext1190  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi again Sandra! Thank you so much for subscribing! I really appreciate it! As with Shinjuku Prince Hotel, I have yet to stay in that hotel but based on the reviews, it seems like a good choice as well. However, please note though that the hotel's location is in the Kabukicho area, which is Tokyo's red light district. I am just not sure if it would be a good place to stay in if you have kids with you. Although in terms of access to Narita airport, the limousine buses also pass through Tokyu Kabukicho Tower and they have 6:30am and 8:30am trips which might coincide with your 12:10pm flight at Narita.
      If you are looking for more family-friendly places in Tokyo, you might also wish to consider staying in Ginza or even Shibuya. They also have bars and night spots, but the environment is not as "loud" as that of Shinjuku, and I think more suited for kids.
      In any case, these are just my personal thoughts. Japan is generally a very safe country so regardless of where you decide to stay, I am sure you will enjoy your time in Tokyo. 😊

      Hi! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, limousine buses from Haneda Airport also stop at Hotel Sunroute Plaza. Cost of ticket is 1,400 yen and travel time takes about an hour. You may refer to the following link for the timetable.

      @wheretonext1190  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Griffin! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, no, unfortunately, the airport limousine bus doesn't run for 24hrs. The first bus leaves Narita Airport Terminal 3 at 7:05am and the last bus leaves Terminal 3 at 10:55pm. If you want the direct bus from the airport to Hotel Sunroute Plaza though, the last direct bus leaves Terminal 3 at 6:35pm, arriving at Sunroute at 8:35pm.
      If your flight is arriving at Narita much later, you can still take the airport limousine bus which stops at Shinjuku Station West Exit/Keio Department Store or Busta Shinjuku. Hotel Sunroute is a 6min walk from Keio Dept Store and a 4min walk from Busta Shinjuku. You may refer to the following link for the detailed timetable.
