- This is a review of the Wintec Kids Saddle or Wintec Leadline Saddle. I got this for my miniature horse and my toddler. What I like about this saddle most is that it has adjustable velcro panels. A lot of leadline saddles are like bareback pads. They don't always have wither clearance or a spinal channel, but the Wintec Kids Saddle Does. Also, it creates a secure balanced seat for the child. I have no complaints about this great little saddle.

Hello, thank you for great review! A few days ago I ordered this saddle and can't wait for it to have a try. I have two ponies, one is as tall as yours but my other one is a bit taller/higher. This smaller pony is really ....well.... let's say "over sized" in his weight, what is another struggle while choosing a saddle. Like no withers (....there have to be some withers but I hadn't find it yet....), wide back, big belly and place for the girth right in the front- not like girth straps on the saddle are placed if you know what I mean. That's the reason why the saddle is going on the front on horse's withers and shoulders. My higher pony get some weight recently as well so the problem with saddles is double for me right now.
Maybe I will try to change the system of girth's straps to make it in V or Y system because I don't want to use a dock for long period of time. Well we will see.... Another saddles I consider are Eddix saddles, great looking treeless saddles but expensive and probably too long for my ponies. I have one saddle already from Decathlon, Fouganza saddle for kids, treeless but is not great, gives a bad seat for "riders" and also have the same system of girth straps. I am having such issues finding a small enough girth for my wintec saddle to fit my mini. 20 inch seems too big
Could you upload a video on how you wrapped your toddlers stir up leathers? Lol I’m having trouble! Also what’s the name of that saddle pad under the wintec? Great video! My mini looks like yours!
I sure will! The fleece pad is a Christ Lammefelle half pad. It was for a full size horse, just extra tack that I had in my garage. I cut it down and then stitched the rolled edges to make it the right size for the toddler saddle (not a very tidy job, don't look too close, lol) The Paw Patrol saddle pad is also a DIY job! I have had so much trouble finding small quality tack, I started making my own! Your mini sounds cute!!!! :)
