I think the thing that makes the free agents moments really good is that not only did he flip all the cards, but he stayed true to his words. There are so many players who talk big games about going against certain people but when the opportunity comes they don’t take it. But Jordan did

The fact that he got Anessa to a finale after so long and forced her not to give up on herself (which she does often). Proves not only he is a great competitor but a great human being. He didnt allow her to make no excuses.
I was really impressed with Jordan after that win with Josh! Hearing his thought process throughout the match really impressed me. Showed how smart he is. But winning dirty 30 is the most impressive moment.

I think that is what makes The Challenge special. You get to watch these young adults become adults. Jordan has for lack of a better term one of the best character arch on the show along with CT and Nelly. I'm disappointed Nelly isn't on this season. The one none champ that truly deserves to be a champion.

Jordan would still win. CT's weakness has always been endurance and speed. His win on Invasion was questionable (no time stamps, production probably gave it to him because of Diem's birthday and the whole narrative moment) and that was the only endurance-heavy final he won.

Ooh, great idea for a video. Jordan is one of the legitimate contenders for GOAT to me, along with Bananas, CT and Landon (I know he only won three, but he's like Barry Sanders for me in that if he kept playing, he may have put the record out of reach).
Landon played during a time when the Challenge was a glorified spring break, 50% of the people were hungover the entire time, none of the cast were athletes and none of the Challenges were mental or strategic. It's way more impressive to win a Challenge in the modern era.

I’m guessing that was a way to hate on Josh. I get the jokes about Josh, but to me it doesn’t make Jordan’s win unimpressive. The size difference was as wild as the amount of hands difference.
No question never a doubt #1 was going to be #1… I would go as far to say it might be the gutsiest moment in sports entertainment history… see football players play on torn acls and basketball players have season ending injuries but still make it out to shoot their free throws but this is another level
I remember exes 2 being one of the first seasons i watched from the start to the finish, so being able to watch both jordan and sarah get their first win makes the season extra special for me
Jordan is such a great rolemodel, not only for handicaped people, but for everyone to overcome hurdles in life....if life hits you hard, never give up and hit harder back! Jordan is a great example, that a disadvantage do not have to break you, but also can make you stronger in other aspects! Jordan is for sure one of the GOATS of The Challenge, if he would have two hands, he would be nearly invincible...so some of the other have at least a slight chance against him.
I think what makes Jordan such a formidable player is his cockiness ON top of the strategic commentary. NOT only does he only have one hand, but he often times is sent in against bigger male players! Yeah he can be very holier than thou and annoying but no one can ever call him boring. And that's what The Challenge needs/been missing with the new generation cast.

It was really interesting watching Real World Portland in the Patreon together. I didn't see it when it aired, so being introduced to Jordan at the beginning of his tv career, when I already knew where he ended up, was surely something. Jordan has not been the easiest person to support, but his "never-give-up" attitude is something to admire.
When TJ brings Jordan in to challange the challengers… he lets him have the first round then gives him a 2 point lead in the second round and dominates 2 rounds in a row to destroy the 2nd place uK guy!!!! Respect!!!

But I would love to see a breakdown of how many times each champion had to go into and win an elimination to get to that final. It feels like Bananas is usually very protected during the season. Pound for pound Jorden is one of the best if not the best! One hand no problem, out weighed no problem, fractured leg I’m good!! I know he can be an ass sometimes but that’s usually when he is running on pure adrenaline and the competitor is him takes over. I love to watch him get down and dirty. On those rare occasions that he loses he does so with respect and class.
I think you sell Jordan short. Jordan has overcome adversity since he was born. His family & friends never treated him like he had a disability. He is always a step behind, in my opinion, bc he doesn’t have the grip like his other competitors. However, he ALWAYS pulls more weight, more, more intelligent to 100% of his opponents. His ability to play, lay down doubt to confuse other players & to not care what others do or think. His ability to focus & stay on track is his secret. Combined with the fact that he has dealt with adversity all his life & figuring out how to overcome an obstacle makes him who he is past, present & future. Most people with two functional hands can not do what Jordan can with one hand behind his back!
Jordan is on a different tier from any other challenge champ. His personality alone is reality TV gold, he was so good to watch on RW. But on the challenge his ego and finesse make him the most captivating RTV dude i've ever seen... His elims in WOTW2 were just insane, his opponents had no excuses or bullshit to say about it aside from seething in frustration. And now he dusted Ciarran who was a top tier challenger. Jordan is the fuckin man. Also he volunteered to help defend my country against the Russian orc fuckwits who cant fight for shit, SLAVA UKRAINI.
It should be noted that Jordan has only done 10 seasons, gone to 6 finals and won 4 of them. If he was on as many seasons as CT/Bananas, Jordan would have 10wins or more.
I think the genuine consensus right now is that Bananas/CT are the top 2 with Jordan a close 3rd. However, like you stated, given enough time Jordan and his performance trend will probably end his Challenge career as the best ever.

Dude the sledgehammer eliminations are more impressive than what you give him credit for. Try to swing a sledge with 1 hand. Yes, his construction background means he knows how to properly use the tool but to do it with one hand for an extended period of time, while racing someone who has two full hands is far more impressive than most of those you listed. Those should have been 2nd and 3rd on the list. You got #1 right.

Yeah, but the WotW2 fine, it was actually more beneficial to have less players. The weight was so much lighter and the dumb rule that only 4 players could hold the the weight at one time.

Hes a top 3 competitor of all time, no doubt. But, man, does his personality just grate on me. Hes super egotistical and never takes any personal responsibility in the fights he causes. His insane hatred for Cara in WotW2, saying shes never really proven herself, when she won an individual final and is 13-6 in eliminations is wild to me. His criteria for who he will, and wont, show any respect to is so fickle. Great competitor though.

Jordan is on a different tier from any other challenge champ. His personality alone is reality TV gold, he was so good to watch on RW. But on the challenge his ego and finesse make him the most captivating RTV dude i've ever seen... His elims in WOTW2 were just insane, his opponents had no excuses or bullshit to say about it aside from seething in frustration. And now he dusted Ciarran who was a top tier challenger. Jordan is the fuckin man. Also he volunteered to help defend my country against the Russian orc fuckwits who cant fight for shit, SLAVA UKRAINI.
It should be noted that Jordan has only done 10 seasons, gone to 6 finals and won 4 of them. If he was on as many seasons as CT/Bananas, Jordan would have 10wins or more.
I think the genuine consensus right now is that Bananas/CT are the top 2 with Jordan a close 3rd. However, like you stated, given enough time Jordan and his performance trend will probably end his Challenge career as the best ever.

Dude the sledgehammer eliminations are more impressive than what you give him credit for. Try to swing a sledge with 1 hand. Yes, his construction background means he knows how to properly use the tool but to do it with one hand for an extended period of time, while racing someone who has two full hands is far more impressive than most of those you listed. Those should have been 2nd and 3rd on the list. You got #1 right.
Am I allows the say Jordan is the best? He’s gonna win Season 40, get his 5th win. Tie him for second most wins of all time with CT. And will probably win again eventually in the future. Prime CT vs Jordan is crazy tho tbh.

Yeah, but the WotW2 fine, it was actually more beneficial to have less players. The weight was so much lighter and the dumb rule that only 4 players could hold the the weight at one time.
It said that he’s hard to like. I don’t find him hard to like at all I took to him like a duck to water. He’s one of my absolute top faves I’d say Top 3. Let’s face it ~ he can whip your ass with one hand tied behind his back!

Hes a top 3 competitor of all time, no doubt. But, man, does his personality just grate on me. Hes super egotistical and never takes any personal responsibility in the fights he causes. His insane hatred for Cara in WotW2, saying shes never really proven herself, when she won an individual final and is 13-6 in eliminations is wild to me. His criteria for who he will, and wont, show any respect to is so fickle. Great competitor though.

Jordan has made his mark but I do feel the men pool have been top heavy since he started dominating. I would rank Jordan between 5-10 for male competitors. No slight because the people who call the top 4 are dogs.
