Hey man, I went to the Goodwill outlet in San Francisco. The one you told me about. Their book Gaylords are nothing but trash. I wasted my time and money. I am done with selling used books. It's not worth it.
Ah man, sorry to hear that. They must be recycling the gaylords and not trashing them like they are supposed to. Don't give up. You may need to go up stream closer to the source. Have you ever done estate sales? Focus on high income, highly educated areas where folks travel and have libraries in their homes. Out in the Bay Area it would be Rockridge, Lafayette, Orinda Walnut Creek and places like that.
@@AndreReese.BizLLC The thing is that I live in central California about 4 hours from San Francisco and 3 hours from Sacramento. I have searched all over the internet for book dealers even for truckloads but to no avail. I have gone to all the Goodwill stores and thrift stores even library sales without anything to make it worthwhile lol. I have done it for almost two years. I drove spent over 2k on gas last just driving to different places looking for books. That's almost the gross amount I sold on Amazon. I think the used books business model is no longer feasible as it used to be. I need to move to something else. Anyway, thanks a lot for your help. Good luck!
