Fun fact, Wesley Snipes originally was signed for a Black Panther film in the early to mid 90s, unfortunately it didn't pan out. However later on he would go on to do Blade. Marvel's first successful foray into cinema.

I think black panther is one of the underrated superheroes but that’s just my opinion
I feel even more this way after making this video!
My favorite marvel legends figure was that 12 inch one they did for the MCU Black Panther, I miss the 12 inch line Hasbro use to do. I got him half off at TRU when they were dying in the US.
That 12 inch line was excellent - if you haven't watched it, I did a mystery box video on the ones I have - check it out! But with 6 inch Legends creeping towards $30 each, can you imagine how much 12 inch figures would be!?!
@@CarbonScoring No I haven't ill watch it next, yeah wasn't the 12 inch like 50 dollar retail at the time?? Id imagine they almost would be a 100 at this point.

He is such a deep character!
The newest black panther is actually based on the 2005 comic run not the 60s, the 60s look cape only had 1 strap. The 2005 version has the 2 ropes holding the cape on. Romita Jr drew the cape both short and long at different times.
I mentioned the two strap thing. But for narrative flow, it helped to separate out those two

Really cool to have the cape removeable, I wouldn't have been able to decide which one is better! No cape makes him appear so much nimble yet the cape really adds the majestic feel to his look.
Yes - it really does create two completely different figures!

I really enjoyed the new movie, it was really great. The new comic Black Panther in the Attuma wave looks great.
WAKADA FOREVER! I saw the new Wakada forever movie and it was AMAZING and also emotional… I also have the marvel legends comic book black panther and I love it but mine had some soft plastic and mine broke from the arm… I was sad but I got over it and I still love it
Also, I had a comic Hasbro Black Panther from their retro line and I broke while try to pose him in my own Avengers display, But one thing I will say is that I will get the new articulated, comic classic Black Panther on the Vulcan body mold despite the gloves and boots are not blue like they should be, But they all look unique.

All of these Black Panther figures are so cool, but I have a soft spot for the Walmart-exclusive version based on "Who is the Black Panther?" [a story I own in the personal comics collection]. Wish I could find it for cheap, but no luck as of yet on eBay and the like.
Keep looking - you can usually find a loose one for not too bad of a price

They need to take the Walmart exclusive version and recreate the one from The Sentinel series.
Also the need a Man Without Fear version of Black Panther as a matter of fact why not just give him his own comic book version line with all of the African deities as Build-A-Figures ?
Panther without Fear would make for a cool figure!

I know people want Black Panther to be recasted, But to me, It wouldn't be right because in the comics, T'challa's sister Shuri does become Black Panther after her brother dies and when I go see the movie, I'm going to enjoy it and not try not to cry because we all still miss Chadwick Boseman, Fantastic video as always.
T challa wasn't dead when shuri became panther before. And she was only black panther for 15 issues before t challa returned.

Comic books characters are bigger than the actors or actresses playing them, which is why they still cast people to play "Superman" after Christopher Reeve died, still cast people to play "Spock" after Leonard Nimoy died, still cast people to play "Joker" after Heath Ledger died, still cast people to play James Bond after Sean Connery died, etc. etc. And Disney/Marvel Studios' statement of "honoring" Chadwick Boseman doesn't make any sense because you don't honor an actor or actress by killing off the character he or she portrayed. These are fictional characters that can be played by ANYONE in Hollywood, not just one person. Leonard Nimoy played Spock for decades, but they are STILL casting actors to portray Spock in new Star Trek shows.
@@AnansitheSpider8 To be fair, the recasts you mentioned are for different iterations of the characters. In T'Challa's case it's still the same iteration that is MCU. IMO it would feel kinda weird to do a recast much like Rhodey/Banner on top of Chadwick's passing. But at the same time I can see your point in giving T'Challa a recast since I also feel that he didn't really have a chance to truly shine as a character.

Im going to be completely honest, i hate black panther's modern design i was always a fan of the more simplistic design from the 60s - 2004
I prefer the classic as well, but that Stelfreze is growing on me!

Nobody Adam West was our bright knight and Kevin was and will always be our dark knight he was vengeance he was the knight he was the Batman of my childhood seeing that he’s dead is just sad hopefully mark hamil doesn’t die because Kevin was the definitive Batman voice and mark is the definitive joker voice god I wish this never happened like who is gonna voice Batman in the arkham games and plus who will voice him in the new animated projects rip Kevin conroy
And mark is in his 70s and Kevin was in his 60s
