Denise , you are a true researcher on this subject! Thank you for your work in this area. Color can be tricky , but important that we have colors that we resonate with. Beyond all of this colors of a vibrant aura are important. Keep shining
This was so interesting. I would never have thought there would be such a huge difference. Thank you for making your wig sisters aware of this. Also the outdoor lighting showed a more muted color for Carrie, at least here on my end. Thanks for all you do!
Love your color comparisons. We really get an in depth look at these colors and your comments very helpful. Imo, color can just be a nightmare when ordering online. So many variables in styles/fiber and brand, never mind trying to match a color you love in a different brand. I think everyone of us has experienced that sinking feeling of disappointment when we open the box and the color just isn't what we imagined. These comparisons you do are most helpful to me when I am trying to choose a new color I might be considering ordering. Thanks for all you do for all of us. 🤗❤
So interesting. I was going to order an easipart HD in Caramel Ribbon, but I muck prefer the shade in the synthetic. Can you recommend an HD shade that pulls more like the synthetic in Caramel Ribbon. I'm thinking about Toffee Truffle. Unfortunately I can't see any of these in person.
Wow! The comparison was amazing! I would have been disappointed with the human hair with that big of a color difference, for sure. This was a great way to see how different fibers take color differently. A great video!!! Thanks.
Hi Denise. Thanks for this side by side comparison. I am still loving the color of the human hair Carrie! I prefer a more blended color, and I love the way this Carrie wig pulls red. So beautiful! Reds are my favs! Virtual hugs, and blessings, Shelly
Such a helpful video! This is why it's so hard to switch between different fibers. But it may open up new possibilities too. I have thought 24BT18 would be good for me in Synthetics, but it's too ashy and rooted looking, but it might work for me in HH since they tend to pull warmer from what I've seen on videos. Thanks again!
WOW! What a dramatic difference between all 3. Even the inside/outside look is dramatically different. The HH doesn't even come close. I see no brown whatsoever. Seems like it was mislabeled instead. Anyway, great info and definitely helps in future purchases. Your research is astonishing! 💜
This is so interesting! Thank you so much for this color lesson. Denise, I’ve recently discovered toppers and I’m back to researching colors again to match my bio hair. It’s way different from my wig journey because I have to do some color matching with my own hair. I’ve found that 8rh14 (hot cocoa) really works for me so I’m on the search for colors that are similar. Anyway, I’m back to subscribing to all my favorite wig channels (never should have left). It’s good to see you and I’ll definitely check out your color chart from the website you created.
Hi, Becky! It appears I totally missed commenting on this. How is it going with toppers? I think that matching with bio hair makes that so much tougher than wig wearing, but the pay off can be so great as well. HUGS!
OMG what a difference!!! I am new to wigs. Denise I was looking at Sandra in Jon Renau in the color 6F27 which one of these colors would I be getting? So confusing... I hate sending wigs back to get the right color. Thank you so much, I love your videos!!! 😊
I sooo need help... 😩 I was in tears when I received my very expensive..long awaited hand tied lace front jon renau rachel synthetic in FS26/31S6. It's ashe looking..cool bright platinum blond around the face LOOKS GRAY!!! And Munster like..shocking!!! Aging!!! I've worked on it separating curls toning down shine BUT... can you tell me how I can change the color of the fringe etc surrounding my face????? Help please. Sherie
Oh no! I am so so sorry to hear this! While you can't really CHANGE the color of a synthetic wig (there are clothing dyes you can use but usually only to add BRIGHT rainbow type colors to the fibers and I haven't personally tried it)... but you can use markers OR root coverup sprays and powders to varying degrees. I have a video where I show how to put rooting and lowlights on a wig using markers (I've used both furniture touch up markers and Copic markers and both work). Here is a link to that: th-cam.com/video/V6_e_mFhiUo/w-d-xo.html I also showed how you can COVER UP dark rooting with a blonde root powder from Style Edit. That video is here: th-cam.com/video/R-TrF2Y3pTQ/w-d-xo.html ... I'm not sure what color you need to achieve the effect you are looking for but hopefully these will give you some ideas to try. The markers do not fully wash out but the touch up powder and sprays do. HUGS!
@@heywigsister you are a blessing Denise. These wigs cost me over 400 it was a "Bride of Frankenstein" SHOCK of PURE WHITE/PLATINUM on the fringe. I LOVE the Rachel but I am just building up my wigs as I am suddenly nearly bald after covid and totally wig-dependent. I had the nicest copper hair, not red, not brown but a combo. Hard to do this without your help .... really!!!! I watch you all the time and consider you my friend. Thank you for the links!!! Thank you for what you do! You make a difference! Sherie
Wig shades are a nightmare for me, I still can't remember numbers and what they mean, I just know that 4,6 and 8 are supposed to be browns ( I think ) I have been looking at two Hairdo short wigs for sumer and can't decide since on the catalogue they look tottally different from the videos, I have a JR Ignite in Shaded Peach, auburn with almost no highlights and a Palm Springs blonde, love the heat friendly fibers, these videos are so helpfull, I don't think I will ever go for real hair, had trouble all my life with my straight, fine hair, I am done, lol but there are huge differences from fiber to fiber, please keep up the great work, thanks and have a safe happy Easter
Yes, MUCH Lighter... the human hair version doesn't even look like the same color... and it isn't just the piece I have. Since I filmed this video I got another Carrie (in the Remy hand-tied cap) in the same color and it is just as light.
I absolutely LOVE the Carrie and she looks gorgeous on you!

Thank you so much!
WOW, that is really quite a difference between them!!! Thanks for taking the time to show us 🤗
You bet!
Colour is sooo difficult!!! Thank you for doing this! ❤️
It really is! So blessed to be able to help!

Absolutely!! 💖

You bet, and THANK YOU for taking time to comment!
Thank you so much for showing the colours in this way, it really helps especially when buying online
Excellent review of color comparisons! Love color comparisons. Gotta have indirect/defused sunlight - really helps. Thanks for all your hard work.
Great video! Thanks Denise 🧡
You are so welcome!
I cannot believe the difference especially the HH!! Nobody would expect this when ordering thank you Denise most helpful 🧡💛🧡
Glad it was helpful!

I plan to do a comparison of the Human Hair Carrie in Toffee Truffle with the synthetic toffee truffle so stay tuned for that!
wow this is just crazy! thank you so much for posting this!
Thank you for a helpful review. The hh doesn’t even look brown - seems red
Totally, I feel the same.
Great review! Thanks so much for comparing the synthetic vs HD synthetic vs Human Hair in the same color! Super helpful!!
Thank you so much!!!
Amazing video! I love salted Carmel by JR
Me, too! One of my favorite JR colors!
Wow! The comparison was amazing! I would have been disappointed with the human hair with that big of a color difference, for sure. This was a great way to see how different fibers take color differently. A great video!!! Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
I love the human hair colored one. If you know of any other wigs in that color, I’d like to know what they are.
Boy. Hard to believe that's the same color! Thanks for your outdoor comparison. I actually prefer the heat friendly muted, less high gloss tones.
You bet! I knew as soon as I figured out I had one of each of these that I HAD to do a comparison!
Hi Denise. Thanks for this side by side comparison. I am still loving the color of the human hair Carrie! I prefer a more blended color, and I love the way this Carrie wig pulls red. So beautiful! Reds are my favs!

THANKS!
If I would get this with Emilia which one would I be close too. I love the color you are wearing. Thank you so much with this review
If you got Emilia in this color it would be closest to the long darker one, Minka.

That HH one looks like a strawberry blonde I once ordered
💖
What a difference! Great idea, Denise! By the way, what wig were you wearing at the beginning of the video? It's darling on you!
Tressallure Shayna in Sugar Brulee.... she is a favorite but has been thinned some...
OMG what a difference!!! I am new to wigs. Denise I was looking at Sandra in Jon Renau in the color 6F27 which one of these colors would I be getting? So confusing... I hate sending wigs back to get the right color. Thank you so much, I love your videos!!! 😊
Sandra is regular synthetic so you would be getting the same as Minka (long darker one).
Thanks Denise 😊

Hi Denise I’m just wondering is there a Noriko that’s close to this color I have the ignite heat friendly and I love love love that color!
That is such a great question..... Noriko has so many colors there must be one that is close.... I will have to think about it.
Thanks for the comparisons and the color index! By the way, your top is really cute. Love the straps--Do you have a link for it? xoxo
Hi! I wish I did... I have had this shirt for a few years now and think I got it at Maurices, but it isn't available anymore.

Happy Easter, Maria!
Would you say that toffee truffle is a lot darker than these synthetics?
I would say Toffee Truffle is a little darker than the Caramel Ribbon Synthetic...
Great comparison!ty!
Glad it was helpful!
you helped me so much! thank you
You are so welcome!
So helpful!
the HH 627 looks much lighter on video. Is it?
Yes, MUCH Lighter... the human hair version doesn't even look like the same color... and it isn't just the piece I have. Since I filmed this video I got another Carrie (in the Remy hand-tied cap) in the same color and it is just as light.
@@heywigsister thanks. I’m researching buying my first HH.
