Wow, you described my property perfectly! You must be a mind-reader or an Ancient Egyptian Alien who used the M5 nanostations 4500 years ago when you connected the Pyramids for Wifi. Thanks for the super awesome simple diagram and explanation. I am setting this up on my property ASAP!
Excellent video. I found many other postings on YT confusing, especially when it came to setting up IP addresses. Superb video very instructive I understood a lot of hose thank you to you
We had some of these. Had being the key word here as these loco series seem to have random manufacturing flaws that cause their firmware to hang up, either after making a change in the setup or turning one into an access point. IDK how many we RMAed back to the factory but I got tired of it and all 15 of them met my sledge hammer and I bought Ruckus radios and they been rock solid.. If you get the ubiquiti radios just opt for the standard nanostations and stay away from the loco series.
Thank you for this video. It helped me find what i was missing. I am curious as to why you changed each device to DHCP? I have always set my M5's up to use static so that I can easily connect to them for management purposes.
Simon, when I plug my computer into Station B with an Ethernet Cable, I'm not getting a signal. The LAN light on the back of the Nanostation M5 is on and the light where I plug it into my computer is also on. It feels like there is something not quite configured correctly on my laptop to receive the signal. Any thoughts?
Hi Simon - want to use AC Loco M5 as PMP. One used as AP, another used as Station. For the other station can I use a NSM5? Reason is that I need the 2nd Ethernet port. Upgrading from all NSM2's, and have spare AC Locos. Thank you
I have a LocoM2. Can I just skip the second M2 and use the WiFi sent from the Access Point in building A "directly" with WiFi clients in building B? In my case building B is only about 150 yards away.
Hi, how can I configure 4 ubiquiti loco m5 antennas to send data from cameras if I have problems with a building that blocks the signal and does not let me send it directly and I have to make a kind of M to carry the data to the tower where the NVR recorder is. I understand that the antenna that is in the cameras must be station mode, then the others?
Hi big bro thanks and appreciate your video, can u do video on these project for me,it goes this way,a company called me cctv ip installation where they have 7 building away from each other and where the office or control room is about 120 meters away from other 7 buildings so in this case is going to be multi to one point but not one to multi point as u did in this video I commented on,
Hi, I am having trouble with the LCD screen bracket on my 6th generation iPad and two of the screws are stripped. I tried to use foil, rubber band, and other larger screws to remove but I still can't. Do you have any ways to remove it please and and thank you.
When you shoot it to Station B how does the person in building B connect to wifi? Do they see the same or original SSID just bridged and having a stronger connection?
Good morning, this is Jose Cctv installer from Miami Florida I have a camera layout plan I would like to share with you for you to review and tell me what would be the best Ubiquiti AP/Stations for this project. May I have your email address thanks.

Another Excellently Presented Tutorial! This should be "The Single Example" for All Would Be Presenters!
I followed this video exactly using M5 locos and now I have a successful point to point connection. Works like a charm, thank you so much!
You are welcome. Glad the video helped.

Good summary mate 🇦🇺🤙

Nice edutainment video 28:09
Great video, will this work if the stations are in line of sight, 200 meters each from access point but 70 degrees apart?

Hi and thanks for the video. So it is basically the same setup process as NSM5? identical? or is there any difference in settings? Thank you!
Same settings
Hello, after watching your videos I try doing the same way, but using just two radio and it didn't work

If it’s plug into the router than is the router not an AP anymore or can the router broadcast WiFi as well
In between the three nanostation points, will people be able to see the ssid?
Thanks for the good video bro
No problem 👍
Great video. Can you do this Point to Multipoint setup with the M2 as well?
I'm not 100% sure if M2 has multipoint. Look up the manufacturer specs. If get, should be the same setup.
is this possible for 4kms ptmp set up? my AP is litebean 5ac gen2 as ptmp mode..
Anybody know the average or max data transfer rate for these? Mine seem to have slowed down to super slow. Not sure where the issue is.

Can you do PtMP using the M900 Radios
i believe M900 loco can do PtMP
→VERY GOOD EXPLANATIONS BUT IT IS TOO BAD WE CANNOT SEE YOU MOUSE POINTER

Doesn't each station have its own router?
